    I believe that this website would be very useful for teachers. There is information in different social studies topics for every age group. By showing current news, teachers can use this as a way to make students interested in the topic of social studies and ways to incorporate current events into lesson plans. This website also have a variety of games and activities that teachers can use to make the classroom a little more fun.

    I like that this site can be used for all different grade levels. I also like that if need you can "ask an expert." If I were to use this in a class room I think it would be helpful for researching states due to its "State Facts" section. I also think it would be fun to look at the section "This Day in History" daily to learn something new each day!

Each unit is very specific so it is easy to find topics for extra practice.     I chose this resource because it includes units, lesson plans, games, webquests, and a dbquest which gives the students practice with difficult questions. I would use this in my classroom because games are interactive in which students learn by playing and there are multiple resources to help guide with questions to make them think critically.
