By showing current news, teachers can use this as a way to make students interested in the topic of social studies and ways to incorporate current events into lesson plans.     I like that this site can be used for all different grade levels. I also like that if need you can "ask an expert." If I were to use this in a class room I think it would be helpful for researching states due to its "State Facts" section. I also think it would be fun to look at the section "This Day in History" daily to learn something new each day!

Each unit is very specific so it is easy to find topics for extra practice.
