Boardmaker is a website that helps with special education educators in speech and language pathologist, occupational therapists' behavioral therapists, while making sure to find, create, organize and deliver customized visual support, with activities in the classroom. How I would use this as a tool in my classroom is that it can help me manage and assign student activities from anywhere, it helps collect data for IEP goals and educational standards.

This is a Physical Education/Health site. I chose this site along with the last P.E. site because they might be bare and not very attractive. I found this site very helpful by having a video to explain the game, 4 goal soccer. Along with the video, this site gives great explanation for how to teach the class and what to have the students warm up with. Lastly, this site gives some great games to be played with the 1st-5th graders and explains each game, which is always helpful.

Have fun learning online with these cool science games. It's free and easy to use so just scroll down the page, find a game you like the look of and give it a go! I love this and as a teacher you could use this site to reinforce what you went over in class. This can be done in class if there is free time or this site can be given to the parents to put on their home computer, if possible.

I would use this site to do experiments that I may not have the utilities to actually do in real life. I chose this site because the experiments do look fun and are interactive.

This website is full of information and activities for students to do. There are other subjects beside science too, but the activities for science are very fun and interesting . I picked this site, because if you don't have money to but materials, you can act out the experiment from the simulation on the website. I would use this in my classroom as a whole group lesson to give them an example of what to do in a lab.

This a Great tool for teachers to create educational posters with text and pictures. You can also add audio, videos, and drawings. teachers and students can log on for a class or create an account. This would be great for projects for a certain subject, or just teaching a subject. you create a glog which is a multimedia online poster.

This is great as a Physical Education teacher you always want to add variety to your class, it is so important to keep kids engaged and excited about getting active and this site break it down to all grade levels and types of activities like team work. You could offer this web site to parents who are wanting to be active together with their child.

Interactive Site for Education is a great website for students becuase it has several catergories for in each subject of learning. This touches on pretty much every aspect of a childs schooling and has several games in each catergory. These games are educational and would help the child stay interested in each subject because the games are fun.

I chose this website because it covers a variety of topics in Language Arts. You can use this in your classroom all the time because it has fun interactive activities for the students to complete

I choose this site because it includes multiple Language Arts Topics with games for any ages. This site could be used in my future classroom by including a game as an activity into a lesson for the day.

Social Studies (2): This website contains free learning and teaching resources from Federal Agencies which makes it a credible resource for teachers and students to use. It covers a variety of history/social studies topics: government, famous people, movements, states/regions, world studies, wars, etc. There are photos, videos, documents, and other important resources about the topics that are linked to each subject. As a teacher, this resource could be used as links in PowerPoints, embedded in Prezis, or as a tool for students to use in the classroom.

For this website they have a bunch of resources for math and science to help the teacher out, it has lesson plans, vocabulary, paper and online quizzes, reading material, DIY activities, discussion questions, teacher guides, and exit tickets. How I would use this in the classroom is I can use the lesson plans for math or science, or the different DIY activities that they offer to use for hands on learning.

This website has many lesson plans from teachers that they have tried and had success with in their classrooms. This would be nice to know that there was positive feedback from the lesson that I can use and just make adjustments to meet the needs of my students.

I think this is a good website to use when I am struggling to make lesson plans. I plan to use this during my planning hours or maybe share and help other teachers who are on the same boat.

This link os for a book about science to buy. In the description of the book it explains the different fun experiments that the class could do such as a folding egg, bubbling lava bottle and many more. It will spark the imaginiation and amaze the kids in the class.

This website is good for kids of all ages. A lot of kids go through a phase where they do not want to brush their teeth and this website is good for grades 2 and up to show the importance of brushing your teeth. There are links that talk about cavities, braces, prevention, cutting out sugar and a video visiting a dentist. There is also a link to "take the challenge" which would be fun for the class to do together.

Looking through various collaboration tools I liked this one. just paste it is almost like a virtual word document that lets you insert videos and images, copying words and much more. It also has a automatic text back up so if a student accidently does not save or exits out then it will be saved with no worries.

Collaborative tools: I like this website because it allows you to share texts and documents with co-workers and other peers. All you have to do is type or paste your text in the space provided, save it, then sent the link to whoever you want to share it with. I think this would be very helpful with teachers in the same school and grade that might be too busy to have face-to-face meetings. This way everyone is kept up to date and in the loop.

I am an animal lover and this discussion board between teachers would help them figure out what type of animal they would want as a class pet. They discuss what worked in their class and what didnt and helps save the time for a teacher on what they want to pick!

Although P.E. appears simple, the subject is very important for kids and their development. I chose this site because it breaks down several key ideas, and it covers all angles. Teachers can use this as an excellent reference for implementing games into the lesson, i.e., it includes a list games, roles for instructors, tips, and purpose.

This website really caught my eye because of the video aspect. It is a series that will help teachers deal with questions that students will have and how to help students understand concepts on a higher level. The videos are done by real teachers and educators. Working with high school students, especially as a new teacher in the field, can be a difficult feat and every bit of help that is available is a good thing.
