Great slideshow on how plagiarism will only hurt you in the long run. Take your education upon yourself. If you are expected to be able to refer back to something in the future that you cheated on it will be obvious. If caught in school it will go down on your record, end your school career, and could even cause a degree you have to be revoked. Get in the habit of quoting and citing sources.

This website is a good tool for writing. It is actually an educational online writing lab. It is available to anyone who needs assistance in the writing process. There are writing resources for various topics (i.e. professional, literature, medical, journalism).This website also includes job search and resume writing tools. As well as, MLA and APA guides.

Great example of a school system using layered collaboration in implementing new education policies from elementary level all the way to the college level within the Oregon educational department.

Though this may seem like a 'gimme,' this site provides the very platform by which this course has become possible. With a professor and students scattered far and wide in location and schedule, this site is convincing evidence of the power of the virtual worlds referred to by Flew. I am unlikely to meet any of my fellow students in person during this course, but I know in advance that I will make new friends and get to know them. Being able to obtain a higher education in a virtual online world is an amazing use of technology.

This is a legal website which places fair use into accessible terms for every one. It clearly labels out the for statues of fair use as well. which are: 1. the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes; 2. the nature of the copyrighted work; 3. the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and 4. the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

This book is helpful because it gives a general idea of copyright but also explains how fair use works. It explains how the laws of copyright work with fair use in news reporting, creative works, education, and others. This book also deals with getting permission which can be helpful to authors.

This webpage demonstrates balance in order to create a visually pleasing aesthetic for the reader. The information that talks about the article is centered aligned. If one were to remove the ads and links to other articles it would send this page out of balance. However,the links and ads add a symmetric balance to the page, which gives a more educational and formal feel to the article. 

This website provides information on Chapter 9 regarding fair use. It states the public is free to portions of material that is copyrighted for certain purposes. It also gives information for Chapter 7 for educational fair use guidelines.

I thought this was good info to reflect on figure 1.1 on page 6 of chapter 1. I thought the Pellet gun safety warnings were sub standard when considering gun safety in general.
