    Both from West Coast Trainz, you need the UP SD40-2 and the UP C40-8 (Wings) both of which are listed (with a link) in the non-DLS dependencies section of the session page. The other content is pretty much the entire Jointed Rail Safetran Signals (With Hood) pack - again listed with links on the route download page..... Andy

  • Search for "copy" on the DLS and you find the Copy Commands From (KUID2:192081:1:6). Search for "schedule" and you will find the Schedule Library (KUID2:192081:12:4) along with a few others that may interest you. Make sure that TRS2004 is ticked under the Trainz Versions. Hope that is what you were looking for.
  • For those interested, I downloaded "Copy Commands From" and "Schedule Library" from the Download Station into TRS2009. In Surveyor, open "Edit Sessions Rules" (top left of screen, looks like #), select "Driver Command" from the menu, then Edit. Place a tick against "Copy Commands From". Close this menu. Now click "Add", and add "Schedule Library". Select this and set up the path as as for a normal portal. Give it a name, eg Path1 I'm using Central Portal Control (because it will emit a consist immediately). Open Central Portal Control. Add a consist and driver. Now for the path select Copy Command/Insert/from Library/Path1. Repeat for other consists from this portal. Easy !~! The same procedure can be used for a portal (Surveyor, "?", click on portal) if Central Portal Control is not used. Thanks again. Phil

  • Jeff, I downloaded that kuid and get this error window: Warning: Tag 'autoanimation' in the container 'scenery' is obsolete. Warning: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TS2009/local/hash-E7/content 985rc5j735/wave.texture'. Error: The Tag 'credit:' is not permitted within a container of type 'scenery'. Error: The Tag 'thanks' is not permitted within a container of type 'scenery'. Notice that the first 2 lines are warnings, not errors. They have a yellow triangle with an ! in it. This means you can ignore them. The last two lines start with a red circle with a white X in it and are errors. The assets will work as is but if you want to get rid of the 'errors', edit the config.txt file to delete the offending lines.

  • You will need to follow these instructions exactly in order to use this fix. Download the new common.gs script from the link on the right (Right-click and 'save link as' or 'Save target as') Copy the updated common.gs file into the scripts folder (replacing the current one) Edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file and add "-script" (without the quotes) onto the bottom of the file Start TC3 (It will recompile the scripts so will take a few seconds longer than usual) Check you can change the start amount of an industry Close TC3 and edit the trainzclassicoptions.txt file to remove the "-script" line

  • The reason I liked that steel lattice type of catenary poles in my screenshots is because it looks post-modern and would go great in an urban setting I'm working on. I downloaded the catenary pack (NEC, Catenary Expansion, etc.) from the DLS and out of these, this lattice one looks the best. The NEC one in Michael Evan's screenshot in his post would work for a rural / countryside stretch in my layout.

  • Just wanted to let you know of a useful freeware program called Delete Dr. by Kevin Solway. I recommended his plain backup before (and use it to back up my trainz files because it will only update changed files =) ). I was having a problem deleting a .tif in windows...I guess windows can't delete files with previews or something but anyhow, I downloaded this and presto, the file I could not delete was gone (delete file via DOS short name option). You can get this program and plain backup at: http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/

    I use a program called Unlocker Assistant. This program will tell you what other program has the file locked and you can then decide whether or not to unlock the file. Regards
