Digital Literacy version 2 teaches generic ICT skills and concepts, and features screen shots and simulations from Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office system to illustrate and provide hands-on examples for students. The original version of Digital Literacy uses screen shots and simulations from Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Microsoft Office 2003.

The goal of Digital Literacy is to teach and assess basic computer concepts and skills so that people can use computer technology in everyday life to develop new social and economic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities. Whether you are entirely new to computing or have some experience, this curriculum will help you develop a fundamental understanding of computers.
