'Ideas to Inspire' is a collection of collaborative presentations, which offer a large number of ideas for engaging lesson activities. They are the result of the collaboration of teachers from all around the world.

As part of assessment tasks the learners have to do projects. These tools lends themselve to great collaborative ideas which can also be incorporated into their portfolios.

Our vision is to mobilise business, government and civil society to work collaboratively towards meeting the educational challenges facing South Africa. The S@CC initiative speaks to the idea that enhancing the quality of education, improving the school environment and encouraging engagement between parents and teachers are meaningful and attainable goals that would provide an upward spiral of real change in society. S@CC is committed to realising the Third Dinokeng Scenario: Walking Together. This scenario envisions a future for South Africa marked by collaboration, engagement and active citizenship, in which multiple sectors work together in support of a better South Africa.

"The 2010 Global Education Conference will be held November 15 - 19, 2010, online and free. Sessions will be held in multiple time zones and multiple languages over the five days. I have decided to run all my essential teacher toolkit tools as learning pathways /un-workshops online (We are all gatvol of workshops). This just means that I will be featuring a tool at a time in a focused and step by step way, taking everybody through the steps collaboratively and with community support (hopefully). This will all happen online using my learnwithmaggie community as our base, this school 2.0 blog, our SASchools wiki and the featured tools.

The aim of SAIDE ACEMaths project was to pilot a collaborative process for the selection, adaptation and use of OER materials for teacher education programmes in South Africa. Over a period of two years we adapted, piloted and revised a set of materials on the teaching and learning of maths for teacher education. How can distance learning become more student-centred? Dr Mpine Elizabeth Makoe, University of South Africa (UNISA), has been preoccupied with this question for several years.
