A particularly significant initiative is a dedicated ITE website called Education for a Sustainable Future, jointly owned and managed by the Institute of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and the Moray House Faculty of Education of the University of Edinburgh. Developed from a Scottish ITE module and the EU funded SEEPS Project, which promotes school focused programmes in education for sustainability, it provides on-line supported self study materials, consisting of activities and resources linked to a study guide.
