Snapchat users have a much more negative view of the brand since Snap redesigned the app in January.
Its user sentiment — measured by having consumers rank their impression of a brand on a scale of 100 for “very positive” to -100 for “very negative” — among 18- to 34-year-old U.S. consumers declined 73 percent following the redesign,
the exponential growth of sharing may not, actually, be helping Facebook. And with the explosion of dedicated mobile sharing apps, the industry may be evolving in ways that Zuckerberg never foresaw.
Facebook is now trying to cram so much "sharing" through a single service that it is overwhelming many of its core users.
Facebook knows it has a problem. It planned a major redesign that gave users more control over the News Feed. But it was scrapped when the first batch of users showed low engagement with the new design.

Facebook can come up with algorithms to surface the best material, but Evans says it's just "a hack." The deeper problem is that the "underlying product is broken."
Google said it has redesigned its
privacy and security dashboard "from the ground up"
to better integrate it into other privacy controls and to
make it more touchscreen-friendly.
More than 150 million people
have used the My Activity feature to track down old links and
videos, and "tens of millions" have used the Privacy Checkup tool
to change their preferences.
The "Takeout" feature lets your export your data out of
Google, and has been used to export one exabyte of data
since its creation in 2011.
