The plagiarism detection software is designed to leave no chances for plagiarized works and runs against all the available Internet resources, including websites, digital databases and online libraries (such as Questia, ProQuest, etc.). As a result, the program underlines the plagiarized parts of the text and indicates the original source the passage was initially taken from. Finally, PlagiarismDetection.org generates a full report, indicating the overall originality rating and the percentage of plagiarized materials in the submitted text. Customer has an opportunity to share plagiarism reports with other people by simply giving them the link, generated by our program.

The Library of Congress is launching a review of the bibliographic framework to better accommodate future needs. A major focus of the initiative will be to determine a transition path for the MARC 21 exchange format in order to reap the benefits of newer technology while preserving a robust data exchange that has supported resource sharing and cataloging cost savings in recent decades. This work will be carried out in consultation with the format's formal partners -- Library and Archives Canada and the British Library -- and informal partners -- the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek and other national libraries, the agencies that provide library services and products, the many MARC user institutions, and the MARC advisory committees such as the MARBI committee of ALA, the Canadian Committee on MARC, and the BIC Bibliographic Standards Group in the UK.

Sciencenet - Towards a global search and share engine for all scientific knowledge. We have developed a prototype distributed scientific search engine technology, "Sciencenet", which facilitates rapid searching over this large data space. By "bringing the search engine to the data" we do not require server farms. This platform also allows users to contribute to the search index and publish their large scale data to support e-Science. Furthermore, a community-driven method guarantees that only scientific content is crawled and presented. Our peer-to-peer approach is sufficiently scalable for the science web without performance or capacity tradeoff.

"Seasonal influenza epidemics are a major public health concern, causing tens of millions of respiratory illnesses and 250,000 to 500,000 deaths worldwide each year1. In addition to seasonal influenza, a new strain of influenza virus against which no previous immunity exists and that demonstrates human-to-human transmission could result in a pandemic with millions of fatalities2. Early detection of disease activity, when followed by a rapid response, can reduce the impact of both seasonal and pandemic influenza3, 4. One way to improve early detection is to monitor health-seeking behaviour in the form of queries to online search engines, which are submitted by millions of users around the world each day. Here we present a method of analysing large numbers of Google search queries to track influenza-like illness in a population."

The goals of this effort is to design and implement a configurable and extensible semantic eScience framework. Configuration will require some research into accommodating different levels of semantic expressivity and user requirements from use cases. Extensibility will be achieved in a modular approach to the semantic encodings (i.e. ontologies) performed in a community setting, i.e. an ontology framework into which specific applications all the way up to communities can extend the semantics for their needs.

BrainBrowser is web-based, 3D visualization tool for neuroimaging. Using web-standard technologies, such as WebGL and HTML5, it allows for real time manipulation and analysis of 3D neuroimaging data whether it be precalculated maps, such as the MACACC data set (Mapping Anatomical Correlations Across Cerebral Cortex), or models provided by the user in MNI object format and data in one of the many currently supported formats (Minc, Nifti, object files, plain text).
