Use this site to create a slide show on the class web page of all the events that take place in the classroom and on field trips.

This site will help user create correct citations for bibliography pages. The user simply inserts the information and EasyBib will create the citation. This is great for student or writer to use for correct work cited pages.

PollDaddy allows you to create your own poll or survey on any topic for free. You can then add your creation to your web site, blog, or social networking page. You can use them for fun or as an educational tool. Teachers can create polls or surveys for their students to answer, regarding current subject matter or students can use their math skills to create their own poll/survey. They can create polls and surverys related to specific objectives and they can incorporate their technology skills by adding their poll/survey to a web page, blog, powerpoint, or other media forms.

The directions are easy: Upload your files from your desktop, edit and view your docs from any computer or smart phone. This is a great resource for teachers and students as the students can work on an assignment from their computer at home and the teacher can access it and see how they are doing.

I have used this for my 5th graders. We have our own web page, and I can put links and assignments on it for them to access. I actually have it set as the home page on all of the desktops in my classroom.

As more and more students are required to use the web for homework and projects this website becomes more and more useful. It allows the user to design a logo that they could put on their web page or even add to the top a paper or presentation. Free to design a logo and download in a zip file to allow for their own personal use.

PBwiki is for teachers, students, and parents. It lets you create a simple, secure wiki in about 60 seconds. You can make your wiki public or private. You can also embed video & audio, add tags, RSS, and full page revisions, see who changed what, and automatically reverse any changes. It also has access controls. This would be a good collaboration tool for the classroom.

Podomatic allows users to find, create, and share podcasts. Students, teachers, and schools could create a podcasts for a variety of purposes that will be part of a free customizable podcast page. Audience statistics are available.

Glogster lets you create a glog or an "interactive poster," that is, in effect, a personal Web page complete with embedded media links, sound, and video capabilities. Students can work with Glogster individually or as a group to create presentations, share information, and interact with their peers. Glogster now provides master-accounts for teachers integrating all student accounts. This is a very cool classroom tool.

Blogger is a free site for blogging in just three easy steps: create an account, name the blog, and choose a template. It is one of the most popular blog creation sites. Choose a discussion topic and have students blog about it.

This web site helps you easily create a free online blog. You can use it showcase information about your classroom, such as photos, email links, student work, assignments/homework, and much more. Students can also create their own blog, to showcase their work, writing, what they've learned and technology experience.

This site offers a variety of math games for students. The site also offers open ended math activities for students and teachers to explore. There is also an ideas page for teachers and educators.
