You can upload your presentation documents in a variety of formats such as powerpoint, pdf, etc. If you want to add narration or sound effect to your presentation, you can upload an audio file and have the option to synchronize the audio with your slides. After you create a presentation you will have the choice to either publicly share with everyone or only share it within a private group. You can also find out how users are viewing your plick, for example, how much time people stayed on each slide. This would be a good way for students to share their presentations with others.

AudibleKids allows you to purchase an audible version of books. They are fairly expense but would be worth the money if it was a download you knew you would use repeatedly. This could be especially helpful when making adaptations and modifications for lower level readers. The other thing I really liked is that you can listen to a short samples for free.

I use this to buy audio books for both personal and school use. If you buy a lot of audio books, they have membership packages which can allow you to buy books for about $7. That's a great price!

The creator can leave comments and doodle on top of the media as they comment. The user can then share their voicethread with others. Those who view the voice thread can add comments too. There are numerous ways to use this tool in the classroom!

There are many ways to use this site: post a picture and have students record their thoughts; create a digital story with images, text, and voice; upload pictures of American Revolutionary heroes and have students record their research.

A plethora of exercises, quizzes, and tests that covers a wide variety of subject matter. Also includes things like flashcards, puzzles, mazes, graphic orgranizers, and so on. You can even create audio and video.

PBwiki is for teachers, students, and parents. It lets you create a simple, secure wiki in about 60 seconds. You can make your wiki public or private. You can also embed video & audio, add tags, RSS, and full page revisions, see who changed what, and automatically reverse any changes. It also has access controls. This would be a good collaboration tool for the classroom.

Audacity can be used for many things. One thing that I want to use Audacity for is for my struggling readers and those students that have difficulty retelling what they read. How I will use Audacity is to have students read a passage and then with Audacity retell everything they can remember. After retelling they will listen to themselves on Audacity and highlight everything in their passage. This will also them to reflect on their own skills.

This is a great collection of videos done by teachers on numerous topics. You can also upload your own videos to share with others. This has several applications.

This website has a lot of different videos, pictures, audio. etc that could be used in the classroom. All you have to do is type in what you want to search, and you will be amazed with what comes up! For example, I typed in "The Water Cycle" and had 10 different videos pop up!

Skype has the potential to improve class participation and collaboration. It can also help cut costs by providing free voice and video calling to other Skype users worldwide. Some uses of the platform include multi-class and cross-district collaboration, professional development, and virtual field trips.
