The International Journal of Project Management offers wide ranging and comprehensive coverage of all facets of project management. Simple and concise, this article offers some sound advice on managing eLearning projects.  I love the analogy presented in the opening introduction that project management is like herding a bunch of wild cats in one direction.  It really is true that the project manager is in a position that requires them to deal with people of all different personalities and moods.

Wow, it is hard to believe how many different methodologies there are out there! This one seems really different. I can see how it would be suited for some types of projects, like those with a tangible end product, but I wonder how well it would work with eLearning?

A very flexible Project Management system. Podio allows you to add your projects and include individual deliverables, tasks, deadlines, Project Manager's, and comment on projects as they are completed. It also allows you to chat with other team members and provide access to clients so they can always see the progress of the project. This article really summed the ways eLearning projects can go wrong. I found the on on not meeting the needs an interesting problem. The project was either not clearly defined in the begining or the scope changed and then the direction of the project never adapted. good and inlightening read.

Free templates for all stages of Project Management. Great simple explanations of terminology and descriptions of what should go in each section of templates that are available. Not only are there documents you would expect such as Project Initiation Documents and Work Breakdown Schedule documents, but also Project Meeting Agenda and Minute templates. When you don't know where to start with compiling PM documents, this site offers some easy to use options.

Although our class has already discussed MS Project, I didn't notice it on our resource list here. It is a great addition to MS Products, such as SharePoint. Teams can manage their parts of projects in SharePoint and add their smaller tasks as needed. Unfortunately it is still something feared and underused.
