The 8th Annual "Making Miracles Happen" Dinner & Auction - Kalispell - May 7, 2011 - 0 views

  • What: Human Therapy on Horseback is hosting the 8th Annual Dinner and Auction at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell. The event, being held on Saturday, May 7th, will feature a live and silent auction, a cash bar, a raffle and many door prizes. Parents and their children meet separately for the first 90 minutes and meet together for the last 30 minutes. Light dinner included for children and adults. Designed for parents of children birth to 12 years. Two facilitators run parents' group; two facilitators run the children's group. The children's group is designed to meet the needs of all children regardless of abilities or health concerns. The program material is consistent with topics covered in the adult sessions and supports the healthy development of children birth to 12 years.   • Every Thanksgiving, I ask everyone at the table what he or she is most thankful for.  My family is truly blessed, so there’s plenty to say in that conversation.  But in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving my friends and I have also noticed all the little things for which we give silent thanks every day.  These are the things that make a complicated life much easier, but usually aren’t part of the discussion at Thanksgiving dinner.  Perhaps you’ll have a few more to add to the list, too.
