The topics that are covered are what the child will learn with a horse like sensitivity, patience, trust, respect, teach us to have a open mind, teaches us to learn from our mistakes, and it teaches us self discipline.this article is about how letting a horse crazy child ride and care for a horse.

How the Ukraine crisis ends - 1 views

  •
This article is about the possible out comes that can happen when the crisis starts to come to a close. It also gives a great political history of Russia and the Ukraine.
  •
I am glad you put this article on Diigo Clayton! Kissenger does a nice job of reminding people to have historical knowledge before reacting; Russian history and psychology of Ukraine can not be ignored. I was intrigued by his comment that villanizing Putin is a response to not having a clear policy. HK starts his essay well with the reference to how easy war begins and how challenging and daunting it is to end. Words of wisdom...

Activities on "Le Conditionel" - 0 views

Since I have been reading "Le Petit Prince" in the past few chapters there have been several verb conjugations in the conditional so my responses have been needed to be in that tense as well. This site helps with learning the conditional and doing activities.

Unigo- College Search - 0 views

  •
Unigo is another great college research source. I particularly like this sight because its focus is on the opinions of students attending the college, with less insight from the college itself. The information I found on Unigo was honest, with both good and bad responses about my college. It was a great way to look at my "dream schools" from a different point of view through comments, photos, and videos. Unigo has a really great, straightforward college search that narrowed down my top colleges. Also, Unigo had great tips on college essay writing, and filling out applications.

How does marijuana use affect your brain and body? | National Institute on Drug Abuse - 0 views

  •
Effects on the Brain As THC enters the brain, it causes the user to feel euphoric-or high-by acting on the brain's reward system, which is made up of regions that govern the response to pleasurable things like sex and chocolate, as well as to most drugs of abuse. This is one of Mickella's resources.

I wonder if MH had a chance to think about how this science might impact the legislation, one of the areas being explored in the research.

Turkey, Jordan says world has responsibility to end Syria war - 1 views

This is A recap of all that's happened in Syria so far, and hopefully what will happen in the future. Its still up in the air right now.

Obama said it was not for America to determine who would lead Syria, but he added: "A leader who slaughtered his citizens and gassed children to death cannot regain the legitimacy to lead a badly fractured country." Does anyone know what this quote has to do with the Natural Rights Philosophy 18th century philosopher John Locke wrote about in Two Treatise of Government?

This website discusses the positive things that come from using a Gantt Chart. It uses bulleted points to talk about several attributes that Gantt Charts have. It mentions that because of the clearly written out style of the Gantt Chart, it is nearly impossible to be confused about deadlines or responsibility. This website was very helpful in discovering the ways a Gantt Chart could be helpful to me in the Music Department.

Turkey mine fires - 0 views

  •
This article is about a tragic mine fire in Turkey that killed dozens of miners and left many trapped deep underground. In response to this tragedy, Turkey is doing as much as possible to stop unsafe and unregulated mining operations. According to the article, unregulated mines account for 85% of the mines in Turkey, so its going to take some time for them to follow through with regulations. This is a reliable article as it is from the CNN website. This article helped me realize how dangerous it is to work in the mining industry in countries that lack safety regulations.

The Limbic System - 0 views

  •
This site really helped me understand how the limbic system was laid out. It shows diagrams of the limbic system, and detailed descriptions of what each of the parts do. It also describes how the limbic system influences the sympathetic nervous system, which is important in vigorous movements connected to preparing for danger, or fleeing. This is also known as the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response, and the sympathetic nervous system will help by dilating large muscle blood vessels, dilating the eyes, and increasing heart rate. This source helped me understand the limbic system better and what roles it plays. This source is used in my brain portfolio, as it has a lot of great information.

General Brain Summery - 0 views

  •
This site helped me get the basic understanding of the brain, before I got into more specific study. It covers a wide variety of topics, including general descriptions of the cortex and inner brain. The different parts of the brain are labeled, and neurotransmitters are briefly explained to give the reader a general sense of the brain. The article helped me on the right track when researching the inner brain and its structures, as it summarized the basal ganglia and limbic systems. It explains that the basal ganglia is responsible for conscious movements, and the limbic system controls memory and emotion. This site is reliable because it is a government site that takes data straight from Health and Human Services, which is well known for its great research. This site was used when I made my brain portfolio, which is the compilation of research I have done in an organized document.
