This is a handy tool for classroom use that guides students through the process of organizing information in timeline form and results in a polished finished product. To add events to a timeline simply click on the "add an event" button and a simple event box pops up in which you can enter enter text, place a link, or add a picture.

Timetoast is a place to create timelines that you can add to your blog or website. You can create historical timelines of important events, or build a timeline of your vacation.

I decided to use this website because I wanted to learn more information on planning events for my future career in hospitality. This website reiterated ideas I have already learned, but also taught me some new things and I thought it was very helpful.

This is another news website for both current and old news that is happening globally. It has been helpful when doing research for multiple classes over this semester. It has information on most all of the latest news, and it is really good information. Most all the information that students need for research can be found on this site.

The Huffington Post is a great website to catch up on all the current events that are happening around the world. I have also found this website very helpful for current event assignments in Global Studies this semester; you can search news on any topic or any country.

This was a very helpful site for me for my research in Global Studies. I used this site to look up current events.

I was introduced to this site through American Studies, since it is our primary source for the History of the Day (HOTD) assignment that we do once a quarter. For HOTD, we use the e-newspaper, which simulates the experience of reading that day's paper complete with "flipping" through the international, national, and local news. I know that the Burlington Free Press is a reliable source since it is fairly well known in this state, and it has multiple reporters and editors working on every story and checking the facts to make sure that it is accurate. This source is probably a bit liberal as news sources go, since it is published in Vermont where most of the readers are democrats, but I usually feel as though I am being informed, not persuaded, when I read it. I really enjoy getting news from the BFP because the paper is small enough that you can receive information without getting overwhelmed, and it doesn't take too long to read the whole thing. Using this source in American Studies has also changed my perception of my state, since it has helped me realize that even though it is a small state, Vermont has talented editors and is able to produce a news source that is equally as informative as big-time sources like the New York Times.

This is a great site for people trying to find information on any current event. People can also go back and look at news from events that happened a long time ago. I have found this site very helpful when doing research for papers in US history and English.

This is a blog of a Eventer named Jennifer Bagley. she explains how she knew when she and her horse were ready to move up from novice to Prelim. she explains the signs that notified that she was ready to take it a step higher. in her blog, she talks about how unimpressive the novice jumps where becoming and she found that she kept getting the blues and reds.

This website wasn't used much by me, but I think it was useful the time I did use it. It tells much about modern pharmacy and what pharmacists do, it just didn't have the information that I was looking for. If you're going to use it, good luck!

AMOCA stands for the American Museum of Ceramic Art, which has multiple exhibits and holds events, tours and workshops. The museum is in Pomona, California and is a great place to go to look at some nice pottery. There is a wide variety or mediums within ceramics and the exhibits change often!
