With the recent news that more e-books were brought than paperbacks in February, its no surprise that Amazon is allowing the Kindle to borrow e-books from more than 11,000 libraries across the U.S. in working with OverDrive, a huge supplier of e-books for public schools and libraries. Students and non-profits will now have greater access to e-books, but the limit on checking out books is a concern with HaperCollins announcing a new policy that requires e-books to expire after being check out only 26 times.

This is site that non-profits can join and access different technologies that would help the organization reach its goals. TechSoup is the name of the organization that runs this and it has many partners that donate these different forms of technology. Is there an art to getting ReTweeted on Twitter? Dan Zarrella says yes and has been studying the "Science of ReTweeting" for the past nine months. Zarrella analyzed five million tweets and 40 million retweets and compared the two, noting the time of day they were tweeted and ReTweeted, which words and url shorteners were used most often, and more. Np time is the technology, that is use for small and medium-sized nonprofits purchasing software, the biggest concern is that it don,t cost too much, but rather not buying the right technology. the smaller nonprofit lack with technology expertise and therefore, the can make bad choices on buying software.
