MiamiOH OARS on 27 Mar 18The Scleroderma Foundation seeks applications from established investigators both inside and outside the field of scleroderma research for pilot studies designed to obtain preliminary data regarding a highly innovative and/or highly relevant theme related to the disease. The grant is intended to support pilot research likely to lead to more substantial research project grants from federal or non-federal sources. Applications may be submitted by U.S. nonprofit organizations, public and private, including universities, colleges, hospitals, and laboratories. Foreign organizations and institutions are eligible to apply as well. Applicants must have a doctorate degree in medicine, osteopathy, veterinary medicine, or one of the sciences; have completed a postdoctoral fellowship; and have been principal investigator on grants from the Scleroderma Foundation or other national, private, or government agencies in the past. Applicants may request up to $75,000 per year for up to two years.
