Furthermore, Howard Gardner's learning styles are discusses as well and his theory of Multiple Intelligence. Finally, the main characteristics of the Web 2.0 learners are summarized. In addition to theories of multiple intelligences and learning styles there are issues related to learner personalities. The widely accepted traditional model of education too often fails to consider all these areas. Educators may feel sometimes like they're on an island with little help in sight. But as technology teaching resources go, it may encourage you to learn that there are a number of online solutions available to help promote education from teaching reading basics to organizing classroom activities and encouraging civic involvement.

TikTok in the classroom! The new craze!

My children's teachers were using FlipGrid for fun activities in their classroom so I decided to modify and use it in my classroom! We are now performing our skill checks on FlipGrid and the students are loving it! They also have to review two or three of their classmates each week and their responses are videos as well with corrective techniques. When we return to on campus classes, we will continue to use this as an additional psychomotor assessment!

Using such websites, teachers will be able to help in holding online and real-time discussions with their students, help them in their projects and assignments, guide their learning, do back-channeling, and synchronously moderate discussion threads and many more. I was taking a look at "free tech tools" and came across this video. Much of it not relevant in my teaching, as it is specifically designed for K-12 educators, but it does offer links to the various tools they mention. The link at the end to acquire the pdf with the various sites is still alive and active (as of 6/8/20).

Free interactive website for music students who wish to learn and then test their knowledge of music theory; also has specific exercises for students learning keyboard and various fretted string instruments. The webpage also features various interactive tools and calculators, and printables (e.g. staff paper). What makes it useful for teachers is the ability to customize exercises in great detail. The site then produces permanent links to these exercises that you send to students. To make it even better, students can submit reports with results of their drills. Great for mastery learning approach. They also make paid iOS apps, Tenuto and Theory Lessons

This is a great resource for chemistry teachers. In particular, I recommend the math skills area and the "Introduction to Stoichiometry" (Level 3, especially!).

This article provides some interesting technology tools for teaching that I had not heard about before. I might give others some new ideas as well.
