This website provides a large list of games typically used in face to face training rooms. Some are quite adaptable for the online environment. At the very least they can spark some creativity.

The http://www.polleverywhere.com/features website contains video clips of the various features that you can use with polling. I found the PowerPoint slide information interesting.

#TT1921 (M Oyeleye): The article, Top 100 Writing Blogs, Websites & Newsletters for Authors in 2019, was the crème of the week. It is a compilation of the best writing blogs from top winning writers, publishers, freelance writers, and experienced bloggers. Data on the website is refreshed weekly.

Most of us are working at full capacity, and keeping up with technology can feel like one more chore on the to-do list. Still, learning your way around a few of the best Web tools is worth your time. Even just in this assignment, I feel like I am getting bombarded with information from Tumblr, Twitter, Diigo in addition to what we get in e mails, texts, Facebook and Nexflix, etc. Whew. So much reading- so little time and energy.

List.ly, according to co-founder Nick Kellet, is "true social curation with lists as a metaphor." List.ly is all about creating and curating lists. You can create lists of tips or lists of websites or lists of anything you can think of that your potential clients would be interested in.

List.ly is an excellent tool for curating web resources. You can then embed these lists into your blog, wiki, or content pages in your institutions learning management system. Other list.ly users can even request to add resources to your curated list. You can sign up for list.ly and it's free.

When it comes to trying something new or looking into more tools. I believe I would like to do more research to see what other online instructors are doing. In this case, I found a great website called, eLearning Industry: www.elearningindustry.com. Here I can find articles written by online teaching professionals and for online teaching professionals. Also, the website is easy to navigate and always updated.

At Best Education Sites, we believe that many of our colleges and universities are failing their students in one crucial way - by not providing them with a rich and easy learning experience on their educational sites. As the world of web design progresses at a dizzying pace, education websites seem to be lost in the past, unable or unwilling to keep up. Anyone who has visited edu sites has probably had the experience: clunky user interface, incomprehensible navigation, ugly design, and no content of any real use for students. We are well aware of this situation, and that is why we decided to create this project of ranking the best educational websites: to try to help fix it.

One of my favorite website ideas. It's a little too neo-luddite for me in it's marketing, but I applaud the struggle to give power back to the people (even if they can't put the toothpaste back in the tube).

A powerful reference database that can be used to keep track of sources and also integrated with word processors to generate bibliographies and such. This does a very good job of importing metadata from websites and online texts, and pulling additional information for sources from other databases. It would be nice if this were a bit more customizable, but it may get there in time. The folks developing this are very helpful and responsive to users.
