Like Pinterest, Fancy features members' collections of unique Internet finds. Users can "fancy" things other people have added either online or with an array of stylish apps. But Fancy adds a key piece to the puzzle: a buy button. Some items are purchasable right on the site; some link to the site where they are available. Still others (like this house built under a boulder in Portugal) aren't for sale at all - but Fancy has booking information for a nearby hotel if you want to see it in person. Browse by category to see the day's most popular stuff, or dive into the sale bin, where you'll find notable Fancy-only deals from places like ThinkGeek and Audiocubes.

Starting today, anytime you share a product that you fancy, you'll receive a link with a referral code. If a friend discovers an item through your link and makes a purchase, you'll get a 2 percent cut in the form of credit to your account. You'll have a dashboard (see below) to track all the purchases made through your links.

The Fancy has beaten Pinterest to the punch in rolling out ecommerce functionality.

To show just how prevalent brand images are across the web, Stipple built an image calculator for Ad Age readers at stipple.com/imageaudience. Just input a brand's URL to see how widespread its images are. for BMW, for example, 405 million hits come up (at this writing) in just the past seven days. Stipple falls into the same space as ThingLink and Luminate, which both attach a commerce element to images. The idea of image-based commerce has marketers excited about services like Pinterest and The Fancy. But in order to capitalize on this opportunity, sellers need a system to assert some degree of control - a way to keep the information associated with their products consistent across the web.

It's like those bartenders that do the fancy stuff, but for retail stores.

Intel looks like it has added a tad more fashion to their "cuff" than Will.I.Am's. These two brands seem very focused on "Smart" and Fashion rather than just created fancy-shaped devices for the wrist.

Nothing here really tickled my fancy, but I don't dig on point-n-shoots.
