"Prépas", élites et inégalités - LeMonde.fr - 1 views

Un article nécessaire pour réfléchir sans culpabiliser aux biais sociaux à l'oeuvre dans nos pratiques pédagogiques, et demeurer conscient des évolutions des dispositifs d'aide aux élèves nés des classes sociales moyennes et défavorisées. ... Un peu de conscience sociale dans un (petit) monde de technophiles.

mBook: the paid #iPad App with full Moodle functionality | Moodle News - 0 views

  •
James Chan, a developer at Mass Media alerted us recently that mBook 1.1 has been released into the app store [http://mbooks.hk], which doubles as a support and development site]. mBook provides a fully immersive Moodle experience for the iPad [iTunes store link]. According to the store page, the app provides a fresh approach to displaying Moodle on an iPad and supports the most Moodle activities and resources compared to any app for iOS in the iTunes app store. mBook supports multiple languages (currently 5), has been tested with all of the standard Moodle activities (omitting flash based resources such as found in some SCORM packages presumably) and certainly looks promising...

Moodle.org: Activity Module: storytelling-gallery-integration - 0 views

  •
Framed on a main project we called "moodle4kids" (or "space4kids") this plugin includes a new button in your tinyMCE that puts together the modules "storytelling" and "gallery4kids". This module does nothing by itself: While "storytelling" activity module allows kids to write an story with tinyMCE, and "Gallery4kids" activity module allows kids to store media resources, "s4kall" join both tools letting kids write stories that could include multimedia resources. This function will convert moodle in a kind of "children's social network" to share and comment their digital creations (text, video, audio, images...) with other users with similar interests.

The 11+ Moodle Twitterers you should be following | Moodle News - 2 views

  •
Please note that this list is subjective, it's not meant to be comprehensive or complete and there are a good many Twitterers all contributing to Moodle news not on this list (just watch the post titles). With the entire Moodle Twitter community things would be much more boring around here. Follow the whole list at this link: http://twitter.com/josephthibault/moodlers

- Weber State University - Whimsy Project - 0 views

  •
Multimobile services are services you can use on your mobile phone. You can use these services in multiple ways - by interacting with a speech server, sending and receiving text messages, sending and receiving instant messages, etc. - hence "multimobile." The Whimsy Project's working hypothesis is that when certain conditions are met, a collection of multimobile services can have a positive impact on the educational environment of a college or university. The objective of the Project is to create software that will enable these conditions to be met. Pursuit of this objective has led to the creation of six interrelated products: 1. Whimsy, an infrastructure that enables the use of multimobile services; 2. Whimsy Toolkit, a web application that enables non-technical users to create notification and on demand services; 3. Whimsy SDK, a software development kit that enables developers to create custom multimobile services; 4. Whimsy Mobile, a customizable web site that provides a catalog of available services and a training ground for their use; 5. Whimsy Command, a collection of tools for administering Whimsy; and 6. Whimsy Support, a set of tools for providing user support.

Lifehacker Pack for Android: Our List of the Best Android Apps | Diigo - 3 views
