Welcome to the LearnerScript feature explanatory short video, In this video, you will see, the 5 Moodle Report Actions to Use from LearnerScript for Insightful Learning Analytics. Let's dive into the video now... For demonstration purposes let's apply all these 5 LearnerScript report actions on the "BigBlueButton Summary report" from this "Course" Dashboard. To do so you need to visit the "manage reports" page and scroll down till you find "BigBlueButton Summary report" here. On the right side of this BigBlueButton Summary report, you can see the 5 Moodle report actions. Let's cover all these actions one after the other... 1. Edit: Revise Your Moodle Report This 'Edit' action helps you change this BigBlueButton Summary report, you can change its name, report type, SQL coding, columns, calculations, export options, graph/chart type, etc. as per your requirement. 2. Duplicate: Replicate Your Moodle Report Using the duplicate report action you can replicate any particular moodle report as per your need. For example, let's duplicate this BigBlueButton summary report by clicking on this action icon. Here you can see that the exact Copy of the BigBlueButton Summary report has been recreated. 3. Delete: Remove Your Moodle Report Use this report action to make your LearnerScript free from any unwanted or outdated Moodle reports. For suppose we don't want this recently created duplicate BigBlueButton Summary report. So to remove this report click on the delete action icon and confirm the deletion. After refreshing the page you can see the Copy BigBlueButton summary report has been removed. 4. Hide: Repose Your Moodle Report You can hide Moodle Report from your Manager, Teacher, Student, etc. Let's hide this BigBlueButton Summary report for example. After selecting the hide option you can see that this particular report has been hidden on this Course dashboard. Let's show this particular report again by clicking on this EYE action icon. LearnerScript, the Moodle reporting tool, is something that can be used right away, with or without minimal configuration after you plug it in on your Moodle. To make it happen, this Moodle analytics tool comes with a set of useful Canned Reports or default reports. Let's dive into the video now to check the 5 most common Canned Reports from LearnerScript to Start Your Moodle reporting journey. #1. Course Summary: Course Summary is one of the most common Canned reports. Since the Moodle platform is primarily course-based, this default report on LearnerScript is even more useful. In this report, drill down each metric such as enrolments, activities, assignments, grades, time spent, etc., to evaluate your course further.  In addition to this, do the comparative analysis of courses side by side. It will help you know why a certain course is faring well and why others do not. #2. Learners Summary This Canned report on LearnerScript shows the complete learning process of your learners. The metrics include his enrolled courses, in-progress ones, completed courses, badges, grades, etc. drill down some of the components of the Learner Summary to get more insights from the report. You can do the Comparative Analysis of learners to learn how different learners are going forward about their learning. #3. Quiz Summary In this report, you will see the highlights of all your quizzes as the Moodle Teacher report (role). This Canned report includes metrics such as quiz, course name, grades, total attempts, completed learners, in-progress learners, etc. This same report is available to the Moodle student role with metrics such as quiz name, the number of attempts, the marks he scored, etc. #4. Welcome to the LearnerScript Moodle Report access permissions using roles explanatory short video. In this video, you will see how we can assign and revoke a Moodle report access to any particular role! Let's dive into the video now! In this LearnerScript Custom dashboard, you can see two report widgets related to Badges and SCORM summary. Click on the "view more" button from any one of these two report widgets to set the access permission to any particular role. From this copy Badge Summary report page, you need to click on the "permissions" tab. From the dropdown below choose "User with selected roles" then set the Context level and Role for this particular report access permission and then click on add button. Here you can see in this table that the context level and role levels that we have added earlier are being shown here for this report permission. You can also set the conditions for multiple role access permissions then click on the update button from the bottom. Now to cross-check whether this copy badge summary report is available to this particular manager role we need to log in with manager role credentials. Once you log in as a manager you can check whether the copy badge summary report is accessible to you or not, by selecting the add widgets action icon from the top menu. Here the manager can see the "copy badge summary" widget is available in the reports list for his access, let's add it to the dashboard. Now let's revoke the copy badge summary report access from the manager role. to do so you need to log in as admin and select that particular report and go to the permissions tab then delete the role access from this table and click on update. once the admin revokes the manager role access to the copy badge summary report, the manager will not find it in his dashboard. here you can see how the manager is unable to find this particular report in his dashboard. Welcome to the LearnerScript BigBlueButton activity report filters video. -open the BigBlueButton summary report in the LearnerScript tool. -Here you can see different courses and their associated activity types and the respective BBB activity starting date & time details. - As we can see there are multiple courses and dates available in this report, for our convenience we will choose a date and a particular course. -Here you can see the "Diode characteristics" BBB activity started on Thursday, 9th July 2020 at 3:35 PM and 4 students have attended it. -Here can see their BBB session join time details also. -To further explore this report you need to click on the view more button and it will take you to the Active Students Summary Report. -You can use the calendar filter to select any particular date for this Diode characteristics BBB activity selection report. -you can compare this generated report with the BigBlueButton summary report to see when a BBB activity session started and how many students joined along with when they've joined this particular session. -Using the drop-down option in this active students summary report, you can select any particular activity for example "Doubt clarification" BBB activity, and then generate the active students summary report. - here also you can compare this Doubt clarification activity report with the BigBlueButton summary report.

Course Activity Summary:   This report summarizes all course activities in a single report, with all the related course metrics. Use this Activity column sort option to check all course activities and their metrics.   #2. Course Competency Summary   Using this Course competency summary report Teachers/managers can check who has completed which competency in a particular Moodle course.   #3. Course Participation   The Course Participation tile/statistics report shows us how many completions have happened out of the enrolments at the site level, at any given period.    #4. Course Performance | Topic-wise   In the Course Performance report, check each student's progress in each topic of a course. Also, see the performance (topic-wise) of your folks enrolled in their respective courses available in your Moodle LMS. Use the filter above to change the course report.   #5. Course Profile   the Course Profile showcases the number of enrolments, completions, the progress of the course, various grades, badges, total activities, total time spent on it, enrolment methods, and sundry. Moreover, do make a comparative analysis of two or more courses at a time on LearnerScript.   #6. Course Views by Learners   Course views of your students help you know how they engage themselves with the courses they enrolled in.  This Moodle report shows up the number of hits i.e. number of times the Course is visited by your student.   #7. Course-wise User Time-spent   The Course-wise User Time-spent reports the amount of time spent on it by its learner. How to Set Default Moodle Report Format in LearnerScript Dashboard? In this LearnerScript features, explanatory short video you will see how we can set any particular default report appearance format for LearnerScript widgets and tiles. Let's dive into the video now! To set the default report appearance format in LearnerScript, let's add a "New Dashboard" Once the new dashboard is added Now let's first add report widgets to this empty dashboard. To do so Click on add widgets/tiles option and select the "Add widgets" drop-down option. Select any particular report from here to set the default report presentation format on this new dashboard. For the sake of demonstration let's choose the Course summary report widget and here you can see that we can choose from any of these multiple presentation formats to add to the dashboard. For starters Let's begin with the "Participation" type format, click on "Add To Dashboard". Here you can see that the course summary report is being added as a default report format in the form of a combination graph here. You can always switch the format if you like using the switch report option. Here you can see that when we click on this course summary report switch option we can choose other formats as well. Similarly, you can set any default report presentation formats from this drop-down in this new dashboard. Now let's add one more Moodle report widget in this LearnerScript dashboard. This time let's choose the "Learners Summary" report widget and from the drop-down select "report table" as a default report, presentation format then click on the "add to dashboard" button. here you can see that the Learners summary report is being shown in tabular format. Remember You can always switch between the available report formats if in case you need another report format in this Learners summary widget. Now let's add LearnerScript report tiles in different formats. To do so Click on add widgets/tiles option and select the "Add

How to Enable or Disable Moodle Report Table Using LearnerScript? Welcome to the LearnerScript feature explanatory short video, In this video, you will see using LearnerScript, How we can Enable or Disable Moodle Report tables. Let's dive into the video now... From this LearnerScript dashboard go to the "manage reports" page and select the "course summary" report. Here in this course summary report, you can see the participation graph and in the below section showing us the course summary report table. Let's disable this Moodle report table by Using the edit option from the menu. Click on the "Expand All" option and scroll down till you find the "Disable table" option below. Now Check the "Disable for table" option and then click on "Next" and click "Save". Here you can see that in this course summary report we can now only see the participation graph report only. Let's enable the report table so that we could see it here again! Click on the edit option and select the "Expand All" option, scroll towards the bottom and uncheck the Disable table option and click "Next" then click the "Save" option. Now you can see here that the course summary report table has been enabled again. Similarly, let's try this feature for one more report. From this "manage reports" page let's select the "Top Learners" Moodle report. In this report, you can see that only the graph is shown and the report table is not available. Let's enable the table for this report. Go to the edit option from the menu and click on "Expand All" then scroll towards the bottom and Uncheck the "Disable table" option. Click next and save. Now you can see this "top learners report" showing us both graph and report table as well. This is how you can enable or disable any Moodle report tables using LearnerScript.

Using these reports you can see the Moodle resources utilization statistics of your Moodle LMS course resources. -Using this "Learner Resources" report you can view a particular course and its users' associated resources details such as Learner, Number of resources, time spent, and the number of views. - Here you can sort the "Total time spent" column and see which user has spent the max time on the course resources. -By using this "filter icon" you can select an individual learner from this particular course. Using the message icon you can send a reminder message to this Learner for his pending resource stats. -Using the Graph icon you can view the "time spent" report on this particular course. -In this "Resource Summary" report you can see a particular course and its associated particular resource Type details such as "Learner", "email", "category", "Course", etc. -Using the "filter icon" you can select a resource from this course and see its related statistics. -In this "Resources Participation" report you can see a particular course and its associated "resources" details. -Here you can see details of "Resource", "Course", "Module", "Section", "Time spent" and "Number of views" details. -Using the "graph icon" you can see this particular course associated resource utilization statistics in graphical format. -In this "Resource Views" report you can see the number of resource type activity(from all courses) visits, within a timeline.

Welcome to the LearnerScript tiles and widgets order rearrangements explanatory short video. In this video, you will see how we can rearrange any particular Moodle report positions in the LearnerScript dashboards. Let's dive into the video now! Here on the "LearnerScript Test dashboard", you can see here that 3 tiles and 2 widgets are being shown side by side. Now let's reposition the tiles and widgets order on this test dashboard. To do so you need to first click on the "Customise this page" button. Now go to the "LearnerScript test dashboard". Here on the test dashboard let's reposition the "Copy active learners" and "Copy Assignments" tiles arrangement order by dragging them across the dotted line sections. Also, let's rearrange the order of below 2 side-by-side widgets of the "Learners summary report" and "Course summary report" to be arranged one after another report. Just drag these 2 report widgets one after the other so that they can reposition on the whole dotted lines section. once finished rearranging orders of these Moodle Reports then you need to go back and click on the "stop customizing this page" button. Now you can see here on the test dashboard that the tiles and widgets positions are being rearranged. This is how you can rearrange any particular Moodle report order on any of the LearenrScript dashboards.

In this LearnerScript features explanatory short video you will see how we can check any particular Moodle course-related top 10 Quizzes activity details using the LearnerScript tool. In this LearnerScript Quizzes Dashboard, we can see the Quizzes summary table that contains details such as Quiz Names, its associated Course name, average grade, Pass grade, max grade, attempted, in-progress and Completed learners, total attempts, total time spent, and Number of Views details. Let's check the top 10 quiz participation details based on total attempts for this Financial management Capstone course table. To do so You need to limit the table results to 10 then you need to sort this table by total attempts in descending order! You can see here the top 10 quizzes for financial management capstone course details. here you can see "Financial Management Capstone Quiz 1" is the top attempted quiz and followed by other quizzes! You can also see the total time spent on "Financial Management Capstone Quiz 1'. Once you click on the "Number of views" value for this particular quiz then you can see further details for this quiz activity view related to individual learners view counts as well. Now, let's add a chart for this report to see the top 10 quizzes summary report in graphical format! Click on the "Add Graph" option from above to add this chart. As you can see this chart is showing all the quiz participation details. To limit the records to only the top 10 quizzes, you need to click on the edit graph option then you need to sort by total attempts in descending order and limit the records to ten. This is how you can check any particular Moodle courses' top 10 quiz participations detail using LearnerScript!

Welcome to the LearnerScript Moodle reports hiding and removing concept explanatory short video! In this video, you will see how we can Hide or completely delete any particular Moodle report on the LearnerScript tool. Let's dive into the video! Here on the LearnerScripts' New Test Dashboard, you can see some reports in the form of tiles and widgets. If you want to hide any particular tile or widget report temporarily then you need to visit the manage reports section. From the manage reports page, you need to look for that particular report you want to hide. Here let's hide the "Copy Active Learners" report by clicking on the "EYE" icon. Now you can see that the "Copy Active Learners" tile report is being hidden from this dashboard. Similarly, you can also enable this report again using the "EYE" icon from the manage reports page. You can also hide and unhide the "assigment summary" widget report from this dashboard. You can also Delete permanently any particular tile or widget report using the "Cross" icon. Let's take an example of deleting the "Copy Active Learners" report. First, you need to find that report on the manage reports page and from there click on the "Cross" icon to delete this particular report permanently. Now you can see here that the "Copy Active Learners" report is now gone and also you can not find it on the manage reports list section also. As it is being removed permanently.

A brief about Quiz in Moodle The courses in the Moodle Learning Management System (aka Moodle LMS) form its essence. And there are various methods to assess the learning experience of your folks. They include Assignments, Polls, Surveys, and Quizzes. Moodle Quiz is part and parcel of a Moodle course. In the sense, if you are a (Moodle) admin or teacher, you can add a quiz, to check your learners' progress, across the course. In order to form a quiz, you need questions from a Question Bank of your course. It contains a variety of Quiz Question Types in Moodle, which we will discuss separately in another post. So, you save these quiz questions of a course here for usage as and when required...
