Personal Learning Networks It is becoming ever apparent to me that those of us who are online learning prefer networks. Networks like we have on Twitter or other electronic spaces where we can share short snips of conversations and where our ideas are met with like minded support and agreement. The advantages of networking are many. And do not get me wrong- I am a huge fan. I believe Personal Learning Networks are one of the three prongs necessary to be a do it yourself learner in today's world. But for all the positive connections, laughter, links, and ideas that networks bring, they only are the tip of what is needed to produce lasting change. I do not have to commit to anything when I network. I can be witty or not and still be part of the "cool kids". Networks are very "me" centered in that I choose my mentors, feeds, resources, learning objects and those with whom I will learn. I am in control. I can

Dear Members of IT4ALL, 2012 is going to be a great year for teaching and learning with technology. You are invited to learn how to enhance your class with technology by learning to teach and be the administrator of Moodle course and learning management system. There are many free and low cost workshops on google docs, blended learning, learning to install and use wordpress.org, how to create WebQuests, Writing Academic Papers, creating e-portfolios and how to integrate technology into your classes. You are invited to join our small group (under 20) low cost 6-week workshops for Moodle for Teacher Administrators at the basic ($150) and advanced ($120) levels.The two workshops provide participants with two Moodle labs to practice as administrators of Moodle. One lab is for 1.9 and one for 2.2. Participants learn how to install and manage Moodle as administrators and facilitate their own online courses. Each participant receive individual attention throughout the workshop. Moodle is undoubtedly the best open-source learning platform, with 248, 250, 478 users (and counting) in 251 countries around the world. And 196, 000+ sites use Moodle for their online learning and development. Those numbers for an open-source technology are overwhelmingly incredible! Your Moodle LMS's performance will be mainly a point of concern as you grow your user-base. There are several things that play a key role in your Moodle Learning Management System's (simply Moodle) performance.

Almost every industry keeps pace up with technology for effective processes, resource management, and innovative solutions. However, there is an exception - the education industry lags behind in embracing eLearning tools and technologies. There is no iota of doubt that traditional classrooms and learning methods offer indelible one-on-one or one-to-many learning experiences across the campuses. The Higher Edu organizations are stuck in a rut. To my dismay, they aren't the pioneers to embrace the technologies, but the opposite...

The Twenty-twenty was such a dramatic year for everyone from all walks of life. Nobody thought that a pandemic would strike like so hard, let alone every kind of business and learning. The events unfolded were hardly anyone could dream of even in their wild dreams, except in a Hollywood sci-fi. Though most of the businesses and learning came to a grinding halt, but not the eLearning industry. With Covid-19, online learning has become indispensable and plus has grown at an exponential rate.
