For guided meditation, a facilitator can use soft, serene sounds and/or music for the first part of the guided meditation-but can offer a few minutes of silence afterword for those who can't feasibly concentrate with noise-to allow silent contemplation, which is a key aspect for any class lesson.

    If using Binaural Beats in a classroom, students will need headphones and their own laptops to listen to the samples, MP3s or WMAs. A guided meditation with Binaural Beats would consist of the facilitator guiding the process before the actual sounds are played as interruption could potentially ruin the effectiveness of the activity.
