The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners. To support this aim, members of the NRICH team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing professional development for teachers wishing to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice. More information on many of our other activities can be found here. On our website you will find thousands of our free mathematics enrichment materials (problems, articles and games) for teachers and learners from ages 5 to 19 years. All the resources are designed to develop subject knowledge, problem-solving and mathematical thinking skills. The website is updated with new material on the first day of every month. For guidance on how to find the right resources for you, go to the Help section of the site.

Math teacher and researcher Tom O'Brien offers resources and activities through this site, with planned updates each month to add more materials. These include books published by the UK's Association of Teachers of Mathematics--some out of print --now downloadable and available for purchase. Excerpts from the e-books are available free, as well as three articles by O'Brien and colleagues. O'Brien recommends software as well, some of which is available free of charge.

In the portal you'll find a dynamic textbook, lesson plans, widgets, interactive Demonstrations, and more built by Wolfram education experts. Absolutely a great resource. Builds in representations, applets, explanations of variable use etc. Great tool.  Since it is in Beta, I am wondering how long it will be free and what their plans are for the future. 

KidsNumbers.com is the absolutely free math resource designed by teachers, specifically for students and children of all ages. A place where students can practice all aspects of math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, in a fun and pressure free way.

We provide a large collection of worksheets and free downloadable resources on a wide range of topics. The majority of their worksheets are intended for elementary school students but some are for older students. Using our platform allows teachers and tutors to save time by making their students better at specific topics and skills.

Well-sorted tools with brief descriptions. Great for introducing newbies to the subject, but experienced people will like the summary, as well.

A Dustbin game is great for helping students to organise ideas into categories. Students or teachers can create up to four categories of factors. The game created by ClassTools.net then involves students dragging and dropping each factor into its correct category as quickly as possible in a "race against the clock"!
