    Statistics are used to generate some random numbers in computer science. In other situations, complex functions are used, however for some computer science applications, a statistical model is developed to compute random numbers. There are many sites describing this, but wiki is the best!

    Totally subjective. Fighter gambling stats are based partially on numbers, and mostly on what will make UFC the most money. If the stats were legitimate, which they're not, then it would be axiomatic (assuming they just use the discrete values of wins to losses)
