InGamer Sports, a leading technology provider of real-time, interactive sports and entertainment games for the web and mobile devices is launching the InGamer platform for Game One of the Hockey Finals in partnership with The Hockey News and National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA).

InGamer Sports, a MaRS Client, has developed an innovative technology that takes fantasy-league sports players from "being general managers to being head coaches." According to Nic Sulsky, CEO of InGamer, the company launched "in partnership with The Hockey News and the NHLPA May 27 in time for game one of the Stanley Cup Finals -- does so by allowing gamers to interact with the games in real-time, while they are being played, using their computer or mobile device, and to interact with other gamers at the same time through social media apps."

'The Daily Resource for Entrepreneurs' provides free access to INC. Magazine ['Handbook of the American Entrepreneur'] and Inc.TV. It also provides free access to many entrepreneur-centric Resource Centres, Blogs, Technologies, and Events. It is highly current and relevant Though a wonderful resource for all entrepreneurs, Inc.com is also very good for newbies. Its' "Start-Up" section provides links to columns, how-to guides, articles, and other recommended resources. There is even an interactive Ask the Expert section to the site.

The Sustainability Leadership Exchange will take place on April 1st in Toronto. This event will create an interactive exchange of ideas and practices between business leaders, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and investors. MaRS Discovery District will be presenting at the event along with Green Enterprise Ontario and InCourage.

Karl Martin turned a pure research project into a commercial venture set to change how we interact with the emerging "surveillance society" by improving personal privacy. U of T's Innovations and Partnerships Office and the MaRS Centre came on board to help these researchers patent their work and attain funding opportunities.

CBC writes about highlights of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and the Canadian companies who were there. Specifically highlighted are MaRS client and tenant, XYZ Interactive, who works in gesture-controlled technologies as well as InteraXon, who works with thought-controlled computing.
