"Every App included, we have researched and used (the front runners more so, others not so extensively) with selection based on our findings and have included those we find useful; reliable; relatively straightforward to use; reasonable/good value for money; and/or that stand out in their category for some reason. Of the many AAC Specialists reviewing, listing and blogging about Apps we have most closely cross-checked with Jane Farrell's list here. Most, if not all, the Apps that we have included, Jane has given either 2/3 or 3/3 stars in her 1 - 3 star rating."

"This site is compilation of vocabulary lists, evidence based research articles, questionnaires, communication grids, visual supports, video clips and general information from a variety of educators and therapists close to home and around the world. The Assistive Technology Team at Region 13 would like to keep this site dynamic, ever growing and up to date. As the field of technology rapidly increases and changes, the ESC AT team needs to rely not only on information obtained from within but information provided by the educational teams it serves.

In this course, we will read British literature from about 1790 to 1945, examining literary works from the Romantic, Victorian, and twentieth-century periods in an historical and cultural context, and delving into some of the significant issues and debates that characterize and inform the literature and art of these periods. Although we will move quickly through a large number of authors and texts, the strategies and skills of close reading, analysis, and interpretation that we will focus on in this course will prepare you for more intensive study of English literature. These audio podcasts have been produced to reinforce and supplement the course's instructor notes, promote class discussion, and facilitate a deeper understanding of the course's texts. If you have any feedback, please send email to the instructor at: rsalbrig@hacc.edu.
