      I watched the video and this is true but it seemed as though he is blaming his son for the whole incident like it was not his fault at all his son had the gun and he said he was trying to remove the gun from his son but it should not have been that hard because he is 2.

      It is really hard to believe that a two and a half year old is capable of shooting and killing his mother with a gun, or any other object.

    There was recently an attack at a McDonalds in Baltimore County Maryland involving two teenage girls punching a 22 year old woman over using the bathroom. A woman who tried to stop the attack was punched in the face. The older teenager (18) was charged with first and second degree assault and the younger teenager (14) was charged as a juvenile. Prosecutors are reviewing the case, they are trying to find out if hate crimes were committed too.

      What was the reason for the self defense? Was he abusive to her? Did he hit her first? Where was the knife when she stabbed him? If the knife was not in the same room with them or in her possession, then this can be accounted as attempted murder because she went to get the knife from a different place and stabbed him.

      Although this article may not have direct connection with everything that we have done in class so far. I think it is important to address that if a person pushes other person off this bridge it would be called murder and there would be severe consequences (time in jail, fines...), however what is the punishment for taking your on life? Would it be constitutional to declare a law that forbids sucide or something along those lines.

      I am pretty sure that the San Francisco bridge has a net under it because it has a high risk for sucide. The net was suppose to break one's fall, so the fall wouldn't be as fatal. So couldn't they be sucided for having a uneffective net. It may sound stupid, but if in today's world a someone has to take responisbility then who would be responisble for this?

      Okay what makes this case different from the 17 year old boy? We can't objectify what one might be thinking or why might one perform the way they do. Going back to the other point about the charges for the boy: How is trespassing determined on a public bridge?

      SImply put there must be something wrong, if there are so many people willing to end their lives. Where does law fall in here? Or do they just declared them mental unstable and send them off to a pysch ward. 677 people were deterred for trying to harm themselves so what makes them stop from trying to committ sucide again. Afterall, punishments are given to criminals in hopes that they will turn around when they return back into society. I know this is a touchy topic but something just doesn't seem right about the current system.
