BRUSSLES can't block users from downloading illegally because that would breach the EU rules. SABAM asked the court in Belgian to force scarlet to install a device to prevent users from downloading copyrighted work. Scarlet then had to install the device. The EU made a statement that that internet providers should have to install a filtering system. The ruling of that made the BEUC (consumer organization) get authorities thinking of a fairer way to provide legal downloads. Monique Goyens said that there is no point in trying to catch individual people for file sharing because there are so many it would be impossible to stop. What does it mean to leverage social networks? To leverage social networks, is to use social networks in order to promote their product, such as using it as a tool for advertising. Define digimarketing. Digimarketing basically is marketing, but based and interacted with the social media. Businesses would do advertising, selling products, etc. online for customers that are online. Explain the mistakes marketers make with social networking. Marketers are not using the 'social' side of the social networking sites as an advantage, and just promoting, instead of interacting with their customers. Like for example via Twitter, some marketers try to take advantage of the 'Twitter trend', and promote their product using the words that are trending, so that more people will see, even though their product has nothing to do with the trending word. This may lead to negative comments from users.

The Data Breach in this article refers to their security system data being violated by an outside offender, such as it being stolen or copied when it's not supposed to be. The advanced cryptographic system is the security system that has an extra layer of security by an electronic token authenticator that generates a time-based number for the users to input while logging in with their password. It is suspected that the master key for the encryption algorithm was stolen, which is the huge secret number that is part of the system. 4. Describe ITGS terminology and systems. SecurID- a mechanism developed by RSA Security for performing two-factor authentication for a user to a network resource 5. If possible, describe a solution to the concern (issue). The solution for this issue is to update the security system often and try to get against from hackers. Having SecurID make up a new algorithm to be used for the system could reinforce the system's security again, if it's possible to make up a new algorithm. Other than that, SecurID would probably have to make up a whole new security system since their current stolen algorithm is probably going to be published and recopied, and the system not secure anymore.

    1) Describe the two issues that came up from the technical problems that interrupted computer services provided by Amazon. One of the issues is that Amazon need to reconsider the contracts that cover cloud services such as how much to pay for backup and recovery services, including paying extra for data centers in different locations. The reason for this is because small businesses are less apt to pay for extensive backup and recovery services. The second issue would be many companies are relying too much on remote computers that are beyond their control. So they need to reconsider that also. The technical problem that interrupted computer services provided by Amazon told its customers and users that there may be a reliability problem with Amazon's service in online computing in the cloud. Companies and businesses operation network now revolves a lot around these remote network systems, so this also affects how companies will reconsider their use of exporting their files and data as opposed to keeping them within the company walls. 2) Why is the cloud model gaining popularity? Because owning a data center is high maintenance and therefore expensive. By using the cloud model, companies are avoiding the costs and headaches of running their own data centers. They just simply tap in, over the Web, to computer processing and storage without owning the actual machines or operating software. Businesses can also save their time by outsourcing to the cloud to save having to keep track of running their own data centers. 3) List the problems that companies reported. ( Unable to access data Service interruptions Sites being shut down

The hardware used in this situation is the servers used to host information for companies. Amazon's cloud model is used by the connecting to the internet network. The Availability Zones are the zones that according to Amazon, are distinct locations that are engineered to prevent failures in other Availability Zones. Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Amazon's web service that provides companies with infrastructure web service platforms in the cloud. Amazon's Elastic Computer Cloud (EC2) - A web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud, designed to make web-scale computer easier for company developers. Amazon's Elastic Block Store (EBS) service - this service provides block level storage volumes for use with Amazon's EC2 instances. The EBS volumes are off-instance storage that is independent from the life of an instance. http://aws.amazon.com/ 5. If possible, describe a solution to the concern (issue). A solution to the reliability concern is for businesses and companies to filter out what they plan to put on Amazon's cloud services, and what to keep in their private network within their control. Balancing the two would beneficial and can prevent a lot of damage that a failure of a server may do the company as well as its files and data stored in the cloud. Amazon explaining how their cloud service actually works and have it backs up everything should be able to calm down businesses, and regain their trust again once everything is back up and running again.
