This is a place where teachers can share lessons with each other and get paid for it!  There are lessons for any topic imaginable for most content areas. 

Educreations can be used with an iPad or web browser. It is an interactive white board that allows you to create and voice record video lessons. I've used it to provide students feedback by taking a screenshot of their work, then annotating and recording my thoughts. I've also used it to flip a lesson and to provide lessons when my class is cancelled for weather. There is no such thing as a snowday with Educreations!

LOVE IT! If you can "wonder" it it's there! A great way to start a class, design your lesson, or even fill up five minutes. Full of lessons with factual info, vocabulary, connected to state standards

Science educator blog. She shares lots of lesson plans on many topics for science teachers. Great ideas to implement engaging lessons in your science class.

This was a great resource during my first years in teaching! I still love peeking at it for lesson ideas!

Digital Citizenship lessons for students and teachers

Thanks, Mekca! We spend very little time teaching Digital Citzenship. I think it needs to be embedded in every teacher's curriculum. There are so many "teachable" moments that present themselves that could be linked to proper social media usage. This is going to be an excellent resource for me to share with my fellow educators.

This is an excellent source for me to use in my Teen Insights classroom. We started with a unit on bullying... then cyberbullying... I think we're missing the point- students just need to learn to be good digital citizens! I will use this source to build my curriculum. I appreciate that the curriculum is geared towards students but that it gives teachers and parents good background as well. Parents are a huge part of cyberbullying problems. Much of the conflict we have in school has to do with something students do online at home and then carry those hard feelings with them to school. I do not have resources similar to these. The video that my curriculum used to show warned students to avoid chat rooms and to only choose names that gave no indication of their age, gender, or location. It's good for students to stay safe, but the world has become much more familiar and personal with technology. Our curriculum needs to adapt to keep up.

This is an easy places to check up on either monthly or weekly for new ideas and resources. Free is always good!

Great teacher resource site with a ton of curriculum and lesson ideas.

Rubistar creates rubrics for your lessons. You can communicate your expectations with students before, during, and after an assignment has been assigned or completed. 

Holt Interactive has a collection of graphic organizers created for teacher use.  There are also teaching notes with lessons and tips on how to use them in the classroom.

Curriki offers teachers a place to find lesson/material ideas for current projects they might be working on. This website also gives teachers a place to collaborate with each other for free!

This website is great for both teachers and students. It has millions of primary sources from U.S. history. It works for research or even simply as a lesson starter with an interesting photograph.
