The name change reflects the new features which go beyond just (very good) video stabilisation. The big feature is the price - Luma is now free (dropping the $2.99 / £1.99 in-app upgrade), but we also like the live filters and manual controls."

"One of the best general iOS features is wifi syncing, which, just as the name implies, allows you to sync content, data, pictures, music, whatever, to and from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and a computer running iTunes, without ever connecting the device with a USB cable. Of course, this feature is only useful when it's working, and a wide variety of users are encountering an issue where wi-fi syncing just stops working. This looks like a really useful app. Free and when paired with its other free companion with a similar name, you'll have much better understanding and control of your data usage...and maybe save some money on the process.

Eschool news shares their best apps for education. Unfortunately, they named WordLens #1 and I've had a horrible time making that app work. When I take it into our Spanish teacher's room where she has handwritten posters, it just won't translate. Maybe it is working better for others.

"One of the most frustrating things to type on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch keyboards is an email address. Typing out a name, then tapping the ".?123″ button to access special characters and numbers, then tapping it again to type more letters, than tapping it yet again to type a period, and again to finish off an email address, by the time you're done you've shifted between the touch keyboards half a billion times.
