"What it is: IDroo is an educational multi user whiteboard that lets students instantly collaborate online. Everything that is drawn or written on the whiteboard is visible to all participants in real-time. IDroo supports an unlimited number of meeting participants, the only limitations are computer power and internet connection speed. There is a professional math typing tool built-in making it easy to teach or work through math problems collaboratively. Best of all, IDroo can be used with Skype! IDroo is free for non-commercial use. Now for the downfall (and this is a HUGE downfall in my humble opinion), IDroo is currently only available for Windows. I know, disappointment for us Mac lovers. *sigh* If you are using a Windows computer this is a great way to collaborate online!
How to integrate IDroo into the classroom: IDroo would be a great app for collaborating with other classrooms around the world. Students can use the multi user whiteboard space to work together, share ideas, and brainstorm. IDroo would also be fantastic as a way for teachers to tutor students virtually. Set up an "open lab" time once a week online where students can drop in and get extra help. Virtual lab times are especially helpful for elementary students who can't dictate their own schedules and often can't stay after school for extra help.
Tips: Don't forget to allow IDroo to access Skype API after you download!" iLearn Technology

OCR Terminal is a free online Optical Character Recognition service that allows you to convert scanned images and PDFs into editable and text searchable documents. It accurately preserves formatting and layout of documents.
Hi, I posted this in the Notebook forum, but will add it herre too. This should work on Mac (I don't have one or else I'd try) as it is web-based
There's actually a really nice free tool out there called OCR Terminal (www.ocrterminal.com). It's an online service that allows you to convert scanned images and PDFs into editable and text searchable documents. It's not bad at preserving formatting and layout. You can download the converted documents in .doc, .txt, .rtf, or .xml formats, which is handy because .xml can be uploaded into Senteo for quizzing.
Our table activities offer additional interactive content for your SMART Table, enhancing small-group learning in your classroom.
Each SMART Table activity corresponds with SMART-created lesson activities and Senteo question sets, so you can complement whole-class and individualized learning experiences.
Simply download a table activity to your computer, customize it and use the SMART Table USB bracelet to transfer it to the table.
A SmartBoard mini-movie is a simple (most involve only a click of the mouse), interactive animation that teachers can download and add to their galleries. From there, the movies can be inserted into their SMART Notebook presentations. Each mini-movie is a dynamic Flash file, similar to the same files that are already included in SMART Notebook's resources.
I am curious as to how stable this Beta version is and how many people are using and promoting it within their school district -- thanks for the feedback!
Links to SMART Notebook sites where you can download ready made Notebook files and templates.
Custom Search Engine that searches only for notebook files.
This would be way fun on a SMARTboard in an ART class

Many of these resources can be edited to suit your needs by editing the xml file for each using notepad. Different examples are shown. Over 7,000,000 educational videos.
WatchKnow website for finding educational videos for the classroom. This is also a great place to locate videos that you may want to download and incorporate into a Notebook lesson file.
This site is maintained by the users and organized in a way that can really help teachers find relevant videos for the classroom. I also like the rating system that is used to help teachers make a educated decision on what videos to review.
Here is a blog post that announces SMART Notebook Interactive Viewer, a free download that allows people to look at Notebook files. Great for students who were absent!
