    In the 3 pracs that I have undertaken so far, this is the image the best describes the learning, at least from the teaching perspective that I have found. Most classes have involved the teacher standing up the front, initiating the learning, the discussion or the activity. they often use a whiteboard or more commonly a power-point presentation. This just looks like a classroom that I have been a part of.

    Having a group of Year 10 Maths A students say this about a class would have to be the ultimate achievement. Done correctly, I think Meyer's approach combined with other techniques could achieve this.

    Not quite as visceral as "Take this lollipop", mostly because it's a description. But I imagine if done live it could make an impact. Probably more effective in larger cities where more people are using the combination of facebook and Foursquare.

    "one way" seems to be the underpinning assumption of most formal education. The is one curriculum, one path through that curriculum etc. The presence of the 2nd one way sign just adds to the sense of confusion that comes with most current formal education.
