MAY INTERACTIVE FLIPCHART CALENDAR - TeachersPayTeachers.com - 6 views

  •
Interactive calendar for the Early Years students found in: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/May-Interactive-Flipchart-Calendar-222952 * What learning area/year level you think you might use this. This can be used in kindergarten and the first years of primary school. It promotes language development (learning the names and the written form of the days of the week) and number recognition. * What it is you like about the flipchart. It is interactive and allows the children to take over, giving them ownership of their own learning. * Any problems you think it might have. Prior to downloading this, it requires a relevant application to be installed.

Australian Money - 9 views

  •
This could be used in a grade here class as revision, as the students in my class would have benefited from this greatly. I like the large pictures of the money and also of what they are buying. It helps to see all of the information easily. Problems may arise when the more vocal students get involved and the struggling students will fly under the radar.
  •
Click and drag the money to represent the amount. Add your own image and amount to each page. 1. suitable for primary school age students 2. Simple to use 3. Works well overall

I really enjoy following teachers on Instagram and I look at Instagram as micro blogging, a quick snap shot of their classrooms which can give some great ideas. I Teach Prep is one of my favorite Instagram pages and this teacher usually updates daily. Instagram is another digital tool to enhance or learning and communication with other teachers.
