It can be a little bit of off-topic but this is a very interesting video that my communication professor showed class before. The video basically tells you how much the internet and the social media affect our lives these days. Even though we have already known that the internet is hugely influential, you'll probably be surprised while you watch this video.

This site describes the differences between copyright, trademark and patent and has examples to help differentiate them.

This is just a Wikipedia article about the history of music publishing but I shared it because I remember my music prof. at Mason talking about Stephan Foster being the first songwriter who got copyright over his material and he is mentioned in this post. Its interesting to see how far back the laws go in different countries.

Instructors usually provide the ISBN numbers in their syllabi and this is one resource a student could use to locate out-of-stock books.

This is an archive of google news stories. You can search for specific news events or dates and find the articles written and shared on google. I thought this was an interesting find with archives since it combined google news stories with archives we learned about today in class.

This helped me understand archives and what its like to be an archivist.

We had discussed in class about how many books we thought there were in the world. This article explains how Google reached the estimated number of books.
