Possible U.N. telecommunications treaty? - 0 views

  •
(A little outdated, 2012) This is an interesting article about possible international telecommunication regulations; and how countries have been preparing for The World Conference on International Telecommunications for months "behind closed doors". Although the idea seems easy enough, I do not believe that all the involved nations could reach a single standard when it comes to rights of speech and censorship. Even more so, if a treaty was made how would this effect the laws and citizens of the individual countries who already have laws in place?

Lastly, most of these would not work with our class presentations. They are geared more towards larger presentations that take up more time.

Can't find a book by it's title or author? - 0 views

  •
This is a free website that allows users to search for books not only by the title or author, but by ISBN numbers.

I found this helpful for when textbooks are hard to find. Instructors usually provide the ISBN numbers in their syllabi and this is one resource a student could use to locate out-of-stock books.

Changing HTML (Hack) - 1 views

  •
I found this as a fun video. T
This video is in respect to today's (27SEP13) Google Doodle (or Game). It shows an individual changing the HTML in order to "Win" or achieve a higher score for the game itself. These steps can be done by anybody. However, I feel like this individual has too much time on their hands and could be putting their skills to better use.
