It talks about the types of ADHD and the symptoms. It also has a section where it discusses ADHD in adults, and what it is in adults. It also discusses what causes ADHD and how to determine if someone around you has ADHD. How this influenced my thinking: I know a lot more about ADHD. Credibility of Source: It seems credible it cites other soruces.

This product is simple, there are two different models, but basically allow baby the safety of sleeping with mom and dad while being close. How This Influenced My Thinking: Knowing the potential dangers of cosleeping, I would encourage friends and family to consider this option for their baby, and for myself in the future. I was aware of all of the examples but it definitely made me put in action the examples whenever I have a toddler, because I definitely want them to be well educated and respectful. How This Influenced My Thinking: It helped me gain a better understanding of what occurs in development based on the 4 types of attachment. Credibility of Source: 7; gives credible references

It gives examples of how a parent should praise, encourage, and reward their children. I also like this website because it included videos and demonstrations of what a parent could do while raising their toddlers. How This Influenced My Thinking: This reinforces my understanding of how much attention toddlers need from their parents during their development in order to increase their own development. Credibility of Source: I browsed the whole website and all information seems accurate and it has a lot of good examples and ideas.

It also gives an insight on how people who are diagnosed with ADHD act in different settings. How This Influenced My Thinking: This article definitely made my knowledge of ADHD a lot broader. Credibility of Source: This article seems to be credible.

How did this influence my thinking?: This article makes clear many aspects of ADHD that I had not thought of or known about prior to reading it. Source Credibility: Very credible. Not only did the author include relevant personal opinions but included many citations from medical professionals in many different fields of medicine.

Title: Nature, Nurture and Attention Deficit Author: ALIYAH BARUCHIN Date Published: 3/12/08 Why Relevant and Summary: I was curious about whether nature or nurture is responsible for ADHD. This article was an interview with Susan Smalley, Ph.D., is a professor in the department of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles, Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and director of its Mindful Awareness Research Center. How this influenced my thinking: I was fascinated to find out about some of the environmental factors that show increased lecels of ADHD. Credibility: I'm on the fence. The doctor seems credible, but I am not sure about the writer.
