Especially in this global market where we trade with partners from all over the world, having an understanding of their culture and background better prepares us to make sound decisions. For those who study abroad gives them a great advantage to thrive and not feel outcasted and socially neglected. How this has influenced my thinking: I was not aware that CI was being studied and promoted and I think it is a great idea for our children to develop. Credibility of Source: I don't know that it is super credible, but I think that the advice is solid.

Most of it is common sense but it really puts it in perspective and lays it out for you Credibility of Source: Seems pretty credible

Title:Fulfillment at Any Age: Finding the Pathway to Successful Aging Author: Susan Krauss Whitbourne, Ph. D Date Published: November 17, 2009 Why Relevant and Summary: The University of Chicago has composed a chart/pathway that people in their middle and later adulthood can follow as they adapt to the challenges of aging. Some of those pathways that they included are as followed: Meandering way (a way to achieve unclear goals), and Straight and narrow path (life is characterized by predictability). How This Influenced My Thinking: I found this article to be ironic, simply because it his helps older adults to come over difficulties but the irony is that it is found online, which most older adults do not know how to use a computer. Credibility of Source: The article is very credible and written by a doctor.

Why Relevant and Summary: This article discusses a study that was done show a relationship with stress and caregiving. In particular, one the study proved that caregivers reported having lower overall health ratings due to stress. How This Influenced My Thinking: After reading the article I never realized How much stress caregivers go through taking care of someone else. In contrast, I have always thought caregiver had a fairly easy job besides the minor lifting of the patient and cleaning them. Credibility of Source: The author is a Therapist

How This Influenced My Thinking: It gives the reader great insight as to what predisposed attributes two individuals possess that lead to a great marriage. Title: Take Dr. Oz RealAge Test Author: The Dr. Oz Show Date Published: N.D. Why relevant and summary: These three link were about determining your real age. The Dr.'s explain that there are many factors that age you. Food ages you, if you eat fast food you age faster. Also, the amount of exercise that you do also impacts how fast you age. Genetics also play a major role in your aging process. How it influenced my thinking: I was already aware that the food you eat ages you as well as the amount of exercise that you do. I did find it quite interesting that 80% of the aging process we are in control of such as having a healthy lifestyle. Credibility: Seems credibly…Dr. Oz.
