The maiden episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan featuring Salman Khan went viral amidst the audience. It was an awe-struck beginning that one reality show could ever have. This was followed by equally accepted chapter of gorgeous Kareena Kapoor along with superstar brother Ranbir Kapoor.And now, the famous show will mark the presence of none other than Aamir Khan, who is well-known for his choosy nature. He is selective about his choice of films that is known by everyone but to our knowledge actor Aamir Khan is equally choosy about giving interviews. But it seems Karan Johar has cracked the deal calling him in his show for the first time.The coming episodes of the show will see Aamir Khan is turning candid along with wife Kiran Rao. They will sit on the couch opposite host Karan and we expect nothing less than fireworks from this one. We haven't seen Aamir and Kiran together giving an interview before and Karan will ensure that their first time together is worthwhile.First Salman and now Aamir, we wonder why Karan is ignoring his best buddy Shah Rukh Khan who usually was the first choice for all the seasons.

Abhishek Bachchan is very close to her dad, and more than a dad, Big B is a friend for AB, whom he is glad to have. The star-kid recently talked about his childhood memories during the launch of Vimala Veeraraghavan and Shalini Singh's book Teenage Blues, where he went on to admit that his father always treated him as his buddy, and now he wants to be exact same to his daughter, Aaradhya."I wore my father's shoes when I was just 11 and since then he has always been a buddy and his idea of parenting was and he said this to me at a very young age. He said I will never hide anything from you. I will incorporate you in all your decisions and I will always ask you my opinion but your job is to make sure your opinion is something I can listen to," he said.He also revealed that Big B always treated him and his sister as equals. "And he always treated me as equal. Although we knew that we weren't but his behavior towards my sister and I was always the same. Everyone knows that fathers and daughters share and special bond and sons and mothers share a special bond. So for my father my sister was always the apple of his eye but I was always his friend and that's something I hope I can incorporate with Aaradhya," he said.Well said, AB!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is highly disturbed with the damaged caused by Cyclone Phailin in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, and he has appealed to God to the wellness of people. Going the Twitter way, he posted, “T 1186 -Dear Lord ye #Phailin ko zyaada 'phialne' se rokiye .. daya karen hamaare desh vasiyon par .. surakshit rakkhein un sab ko .. !!” Smile diva Madhuri Dixit-Nene, also posted, “My prayers go out to all the people affected by Cyclone Phailin. May God give them strength to overcome this ordeal.”We hope that the prayers of these celebrities would work in favour of the affected people. Meanwhile, Big B recently celebrated his 71th birthday, and on the big occasion, he went down the memory lane. "It is 71 now. Just last year or just the other day it was 70! The years seem to pass by faster now than they did before," Amitabh posted on his official blog."There was a desire to push the pedal all along those early years, to mature, to become adult, to bring on greater age. Now, you depress the brakes pedal with equal effort, and hope to stem the slide as it were," he added.However, at the same time, he is accepting the years, as he said, "No not I, I accept the years, the giving up on time, on age. It shall happen to us all. That is the commonality of the process of life. We are blessed, all of us."

DAR Motion Pictures has come up with the most versatile production house, and its latest release The Lunchbox, in collaboration with UTV and Dharma Productions did good business at the box-office.Its upcoming projects are Mickey Virus, Ugly, etc. Arun Rangachari from the production house says "Our content strategy is genre and demographic agnostic, and is driven by a core philosophy to bring high-quality content to a cross-section of Indian audiences. Backed by best-of-class talent, each of our films this year belongs to a different genre and is focused on a distinctive audience segment."The production house aims to invest in different genres of films. "We are currently finalizing our slate of films for 2014, which again will be equally eclectic in terms of genres, themes, narratives, budgets and casting, with high-quality content being at the core," says Vivek Rangachari from the production house.Director Ritesh Batra says, "I am very excited to be a part of DAR family with The Lunchbox. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. Bachchan referred to feature films as the great passion of India cutting across all other performing arts and the Indian film industry as absorbing all religions, languages and cultures in it.“The filmy ambrosia's nectar so intoxicating that it has achieved what that no Indian politician has ever done,” said Bachchan before posing the question "In our cinema bad guys always come to no good what about in India itself? “Indian cinema has no nuclear bomb never suffers a recession but people call it is degenerate, trebling, trashy, flashy hocus-focus,” said the actor.

Sunny Leone’s upcoming film Jackpot, directed by Kaizad Gustad, is scheduled to release on 13 December, 2013. The film, which is based on fast paced thriller con, also stars Sachiin J Joshi and Naseeruddin Shah.Speaking about the shooting Sachin Joshi who is excited for this film said, “The characters in this movie is very challenging and it will bring a tough competition between three of us. Everybody is talking about the latest controversy held in Bigg Boss 7 house between Tanisha Mukherjee and Kushal Tandon. Being a host of the show, Salman Khan took the charge to speak on the matter but what comes out from his mouth had surprised on and all. It was expected that Salman, who usually stay unbiased on the show, will be taking equal side of both the contestant but he seemed upset with Kushal’s behaviour bad towards Tanisha and lashed out on him.He gave an earful to Kushal for insulting Tanisha. “If you are thinking that you can clean your image, it's a misconception,” Salman told Kushal, and added he too had faced it and realised that one's mistakes are engraved on people's memories. “Because of this episode, this might be the last season for me,” he also said.Now, his reaction on the matter formed hullabaloo all over. There is a mixed reaction seen on the social networking site twitter where Salman Khan kept on updating about the substance. He took to twitter when his stand and the entire show was questioned by some of his followers. He tweeted: “@BeingSalmanKhan: The choice is yours if u wanna watch Bigg Boss or not. The youngest, cutest but a non-performer of Bigg Boss house, Pratyusha Banerjee  has been eliminated from the house after a tough vote-out last Saturday. She was in elimination with likes Gauhar Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan. It was said to be the toughest vote-out of the season, where each contestant was equally important to the show.Talking about the experience on the show, Pratyusha admits that she felt vulnerable and unprotected as one of the inmates. “I was the youngest and I am also a very private person. I connect with very few close friends in real life. Suddenly, I was thrown together with all these people I had never met. Everyone in there was much older than me. It was scary. But it was also a challenge. I’ve come away from the experience much stronger and I’d like to think wiser.”Pratyusha is said to have dropped her popular show Balika Vadhu to participate in Bigg Boss. She added that she have made some good friends in there. “Kamya Punjabi was my best friend in there. I also grew very close to Armaanji (Armaan Kohli), Tanisha Mukherjee and very recently Ajaz Khan who entered Bigg Boss very late. They’re my friends for life.”As for doing another reality show, Pratyusha said, “Not for a very long time. And even if I am offered one, I’d think very carefully before doing it. Right now I only want my old life back.”About some memories in the house, she said, “No one had anything bad to say about me. I’d rather not think about the unpleasant side of the experience. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality-show in India, and perhaps in the world. I went into it on a clean slate. I had completed all my pending assignments and put a closure on personal issues.
