B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

I wanted Deepika to be that.” It is also informed by director that for the look of Deepika, a Gujarati girl, he wanted to keep it as natural to his vision. Minimalistic make-up by Mehera Kolah and an undone light bouffant ensured that the actress looked ethereal. He himself visited Gujarat for Deepika's outfits, which has been designed by Anju Modi. Deepika added, “Apart from the fact that he is one of the most celebrated directors, Sanjay sir has always been known for the way he presents his heroines. So, other than getting to work with him, I was excited about my look in the film. His attention to detail, combined with Anju Modi's creative brilliance, helped Leela come alive.”About her experience of working with Bhansali, Modi says, “He doesn't believe in restricting creativity and that makes it a dream for any designer.”Produced by Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ram Leela also stars Ranveer Singh. Bollywood ace choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and his beautiful wife Jesse Randhawa set fire on the stage and stole the spotlight as showstoppers for Wendell Rodricks show through their scintillating dance performance at Seagram’s Blenders Pride Fashion Tour in Chandigarh. This is first time that Blender’s Pride fashion tour experienced show stoppers as dancers rather than the usual Bollywood star walking the ramp.Both Sandip and Jesse looked absolutely stunning in Wendell Rodricks creations while performing on the stage. The colourful and vibrant line of veteran designer Wendell Rodricks mesmerised the audience and the moves of the dynamic duo spell bounded the viewers.Sandip Soparrkar said, “It was amazing dancing for our dear friend Wendell, he is a very creative and a wonderful person, I am glad that both our opening and the show stopper dances were appreciated, Jesse and me are looking forward to the other shows of the tour.”The Seagram's Blenders Pride Fashion Tour '13 brought the fusion of dance and fashion with designer Wendell Rodricks and choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, Wendell’s collection was the closing of the Chandigarh shows.Wendell Rodricks said, "The show was one of its kind where dance took the centre stage and there were no modelling on the ramp, it was more of big party on stage. Jesse and Sandip showcased the collection to perfection with their outstanding moves. I am happy they made my show a success with their dance.”Seagram fashion tour began from Chandigarh and now will travel to different cities like Bangalore Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, and more.
