If latest pictures of the contestants are anything to go by, the action promises to be bolder and edgier this season in Nach Baliye. But according to Shilpa Shetty, who will again judge couple dance reality show, the new season is about romance and passion and has no vulgar content. The show will launch on November 9 and will air every Saturdays and Sundays. The actress said, “You are misunderstanding the whole concept. When we talk about passion, it does not mean vulgar. Passion is a part of every marriage, every relationship and romance. If you remove romance, there is no fun.”The 38-year-old was speaking on Friday at the launch of the show's new season, where she was accompanied by her co-judges director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.Sajid Khan said, Nach Baliye 6 promises dance infused with a lot of romance and passion. “There will be romance through dance, they will be marked on the basis of their dance, the audiences will vote looking at their dance. It's not Valentine's Day special. Romance is a theme, but it is a dance show,” said Sajid.The celebrity couples participating in the new season are - Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bannerjee, Kanika Maheshwari-Ankur Ghai, Amrapali Gupta-Yash Sinha, Raju Srivastav-Shikha, Kiku Sharda-Priyanka, Ripudaman Handa-Shivangi, Ridhi Dogra-Raqesh Bapat, Lata Sabharwal-Sanjeev Seth, Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi, Bruna Abdullah-Omar Farooque and Vinod Thakur-Raksha.

Ekta Kapoor’s long running TV show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been grabbing attention post the big-fat generation leap. Ankita Lokhande, the protagonist is now seen playing double role and the storyline has been shifted to a completely new block. In the coming episodes, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande) will be seen taking a major decision of her life. It was an over the moon moment when Saif Ali Khan, who is a huge fan of James Bond, heard that he will get to shoot at MI6 building, seen in several Bond films. The MI6 building, located along the river Thames, is the headquarters of the British Secret Intelligence Service. This location has been used only in Bond movies, but not for any Bollywood film. Filmmaker Sajid Khan was the one who manages to get permission to shoot at the building for his forthcoming film Humshakals, which apart from Saif Ali Khan also stars Bipasha Basu, Ram Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta and Riteish Deshmukh.“Sajid was keen to shoot one of the sequences there as he is fascinated by the building. When he told Saif about it, the actor who loves Bond (remember Agent Vinod), was excited,” revealed sources from the production team.While he enjoyed the shoot thoroughly, there was one hitch. The actress was recently approached to play third girl, along with Sonakshi Sinha and Yaami Gautam, in Prabhudheva's Action Jackson.However, she rather chose to work with Sajid Khan, who is shooting Humshakals. In the film she has been paired opposite Riteish Deshmukh. Bips is great friends with both Riteish and Sajid. Hence the role, which was Bipasha offered in Action Jackson, which stars Ajay Devgn as male lead, will be played by supermodel Manasvi Mamgai.Even Humshakals stars three leading ladies. Miss Lovely marks the first release for Easel, the brainchild of distribution executive Abhishek Gautam and filmmakers Bikramjit Gupta, Atanu Mukherjee and Pooja Gupte. Veteran distributor Sunny Khanna is in with Easel and Eagle to release Miss Lovely, according to Screen Daily.“We hope to release across 200-300 screens,” said Abhishek Gautam. “As a team we want to focus on distributing independent cinema in India.” The company will also release Sangee Thongdok’s Crossing Bridges, made in the north-east Indian dialect of Sherdukpen, that premiered at Mumbai Film Festival.Meanwhile, former IFC Films executive Ryan Werner and distribution agency Required Viewing are working on the US release of Miss Lovely, which is scheduled for March 2014. Cinetic Media’s FilmBuff is handling digital distribution for North America.Miss Lovely premiered at Cannes in Un Certain Regard in 2012 and won best film in the India Gold competition at last year’s Mumbai Film Festival. Fortissimo Films sold the film to France’s Ad Vitam in Cannes 2012.

From the moment Anil Kapoor bought the Indian Version official rights of the famous American T.V Series 24, The Trade, Press, Media and Viewers started drawing certain comparisons. Some started comparing Anil Kapoor with Keifer Sutherland, while others started analyzing Indian Viewer's acceptance towards the show. Anil Kapoor's '24' premiered its first episode tonight at 10 pm on Colors. It also replaced the popular comedy show, Comedy Nights With Kapil.So how is the show? Will it shatter all Daily Soap records with its TRP? Will 24 bring a new revolution in the history of Indian Television? Can 24 become a platform where a T.V watching viewer starts accepting big stars on small screen (On a Serial Format, of course and not in some Game or Reality based shows)?The serial's first episode starts with an explanation from its protagonist Jai Singh Rathod (Anil Kapoor) where he explains how India has faced some major terrorist attacks and for which Indian Government has formed ATU (Anti-Terrorist Unit) to protect our country from any such future damages. Jai Singh Rathod is the head of this ATU.Jai Singh Rathod is celebrating his wife Trisha Rathod's (Tisca Chopra) birthday along with his daughter Kiran (Sapna Pabbi). Jai get's a call from Nikita Rai (Mandira Bedi) who is a government agent at ATU. The minute Jai reaches the ATU Wing, He is informed about a serious threat on PoliticianAditya Singhania (Neil Bhoopalam) who is a Prime-Ministerial candidate and a youth icon. Aditya Singhania's life is in danger. Jai (While his way to ATU) get's a call from Wasim Khan (Anupam Kher) who is a Research and Analysis wing (RAW) officer informing about a "Rat" in ATU wing.Irritated by his father's behavior, Kiran goes out to party with her friends without informing her mother. The result is she goes missing.Aditya Singhania is ready to take his oath the next day with a prepared speech by his Mother (Anita Raj). But all hell breaks loose when he gets an immediate call from a T.V Channel head (Suchitra Pillai) who informs him about some of his dark crime which he committed 12 years back.A contract Killer is on his way from Thailand but killed in the Flight itself by another Femme Fatale. The Indian adaptation of '24', retains all the elements of the international series, the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and complex interweaving storylines, with 24 episodes capturing 24 hours.Director Abhinay Deo does full justice with his dedicated direction along with tight screenplay by writers Rensil D'Silva and Milan Milaap Zaveri. This one does not at all looks like a T.V Series but it looks like a One Hour feature film on TV. Full marks to the Direction, Writing and Production team for creating a wonderful extravaganza on small screen. Performance wise, The show totally belongs to the one and only Anil Kapoor who makes you sit tight without touching your Remote Control buttons with his charm and persona. Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer might have been good there, but here Anil Kapoor is extra-ordinarily amazing as Jai Singh Rathod. Tisca Chopra, Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi are superb in their respective parts. Neil Bhoopalam is just outstanding as Aditya Singhania and trust me, this first season belongs to him after Jai Singh Rathod. We are yet to see Shabana Azmi, But it was nice to see Anita Raj in a mind blowing role after a long time. Special mention to the actress who played Femme Fatale, The one who killed the contract killer and jumps from the flight. She hardly had 10 minutes in the First Episode, but she made her presence felt real strong.It is reported, some major channels initially refused to buy the idea of Indian Version of 24, At least not until Colors swooped in. I am very much sure those channels now regret it. I really have no clue or will not lay a challenge if 24 beats other Thrillers running strongly on other TV Channels with huge TRP's, But 24 will be the most exciting, The most talked about and the most interesting TV Mini Series India has ever produced.Prepare yourself on every Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm for a Thrilling roller coaster ride of 24 as this one is most Powerful, Gripping and an Honest show you will ever come across.

Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. On the occasion of 76th Birthday of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar and 24th anniversary of Hridaynath Arts, Amitabh Bachchan was felicitated to commemorate 71st birthday of Amitabh Bachchan and 71 years of music career of Bharatratna Lata Mangeshkar.Sudesh Bhosale, Siddhant Bhosale, Shaan, Sadhana Sargam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Vibhavari Apte and a host of singers sang on the occasion, and Harish Bhimani was at his best, not minding the sweltering heat minus ac. The ethereal Sonakshi Sinha is all set to impress the audience with her charm with upcoming release of hers, Bullett Raja, where she will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan. The romantic number from the film, Saamne Hai Savera was released recently, and it was shot against the backdrop of the old-world charm of Kolkata. It features Victorian era heritage structures, hand-pulled rickshaws and signature trams. Experiencing it all really made Sonakshi happy and excited as she got to ride a tram there for the first time in her life. Calling it an overwhelming experience, Sonakshi says, "This tram was like 100 years, almost like a time machine. It had a very romantic feel to it and made you just want to stop and look around. It was a very 'dreamy' tram indeed, but unfortunately I'd no one to share it with."The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is also co-producing it with Nitin Tej Ahuja and Rahul Mitra. It talks about the mafia based in Uttar Pradesh, and besides Saif and Sonakshi, it features Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar and Chunky Pandey. What would you call a film which draws so many inspirations from other Hollywood and Bollywood Rom-Coms and still looks as a confused and paranoid film just like the female lead character from this film? Here comes a yet-another frustrated crappy version of many Hollywood-Bollywood films in the form of Huff It's Too Much.First of all, the film tells a story about a couple in their 25 years of age living in London. Please take a look at the lead actor Pushkar Jog. Do you really think he looks like a 25 years old? Especially with his eye-wrinkles and double chinned face which cannot be avoided in the film's poster itself? Some news papers and tabloid claimed "Famous Marathi actor Pushkar Jog debuts through this Film" in their respective headers  (PR generated stories, Of course). Famous Marathi actor? Really? If Pushkar Jog is considered as a Famous Actor, What would you call stars like Bharat Jaadhav, Subodh Bhave, Ankush Chowdhary etc?As far as debut is concerned, Pushkar Jog has already debuted in a very less remembered multi-cast flop film called E.M.I Liya Hai Toh Chukana Padega (2008). Back home in Marathi Cinema, He has done some B Grade films which sank without a trace. He produces his own films and his debut Marathi (Self-Produced) film 'Zabardast' was directed by ace director Mahesh Kothare. Some insiders also claimed about the actor having a well-dressed staff accompanying him and wearing "Pushkar Jog Staff" name batch. Marathi cinema's Kamaal R Khan? Oops! No offense to anyone. Sorry please.Huff It's Too Much is a romantic-comedy revolving around a creative director, his quirky best friend and a woman that he is confused about. The film is an all and out youth centric romantic-comedy set in London dealing with the tryst and tribulation of young 'Desis' staying abroad.Another plot about Indians who live abroad and confused about their lifestyles and livings. Such plot, if treated in a right format can do really wonders. But it looks as if the people behind the scenes were only interested in shooting the film rather concentrating on the storyline. The first half of the film is just tolerable. But it's the second half which tortures you to the core.As I speak about the performances, Pushkar Jog really doesn't know to act in a Hindi film, Despite starting his career as a child actor. Acting in a Marathi Film is different. The Body language, The Accent, The Style etc.But performing in a Hindi Film is another ball game. The Sarcasm comedy slang that he used in this one looks like a (Late) Laxmikant Berde Marathi style. Armeena Khan, yet-Another Pakistani Actress/Model debuts through this film. She is strictly okay. Yes, like every other Pakistani actress, She too has an Expression less face which somehow worked for this film. Why? Because the camera was mostly capturing the one and only Pushkar Jog. Rest of the actors were nothing to talk about.Music of the film is okay, But because of its less promotions, I don't think they will be remembered much. The Editing is bad. The camera work is good. Production values are nothing new to talk about because the film has been shot in London, And trust me, No one showed London as beautiful and erotic as (Late) Yash Chopra used to show.Why Pushkar Jog directed this film? Why this film was made in Hindi? Why does Pushkar Jog's smile reminds you of iconic Marathi director Mahesh Kothare? These are some of my questions which still remained unanswered.If you have a strong and a personal grudge with a person, Show him/her Huff It's Too Much at least once. In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

As far as the looks of his heroines are concerned, Sanjay Leela Bhansali never compromises, instead, takes complete charge of the look of his film’s heroine. Be it  Manisha Koirala in Khamoshi — The Musical, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Madhuri Dixit Nene in Devdas or Sonam Kapoor in Saawariya, the filmmaker is known for giving some of the most unforgettable roles.He promises to continue the tradition with his next, Ram Leela and says the audience will see Deepika Padukone in never seen before avatar. Deepika as Leela will be in her most graceful but spicy on-screen appearance, he claims. SLB said, “Leela is like my mother — beautiful, graceful, but teekhi! She's delicate, but she cannot be taken lightly. She isn't a recluse. She lives life to the fullest and on her own terms. She is colour, she is what she is... I wanted Deepika to be that.” It is also informed by director that for the look of Deepika, a Gujarati girl, he wanted to keep it as natural to his vision. Minimalistic make-up by Mehera Kolah and an undone light bouffant ensured that the actress looked ethereal. He himself visited Gujarat for Deepika's outfits, which has been designed by Anju Modi. Deepika added, “Apart from the fact that he is one of the most celebrated directors, Sanjay sir has always been known for the way he presents his heroines. So, other than getting to work with him, I was excited about my look in the film. His attention to detail, combined with Anju Modi's creative brilliance, helped Leela come alive.”About her experience of working with Bhansali, Modi says, “He doesn't believe in restricting creativity and that makes it a dream for any designer.”Produced by Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ram Leela also stars Ranveer Singh. It is releasing on November 15.

Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
