Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who rarely gets to see in Hindi films, recently appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action thriller Bullett Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan  and Jimmy Shergil. He says he is a big fan of Tigmanshu’s films and was surprised when he called him for a role in his film.“My jaw dropped when I was first offered Bullett Raja. I met Tigmanshu Dhulia for the first time over dinner in Lucknow. As we were about to finish he said that I was doing his film. I was very happy to be a part of his film. I have been a big fan of him since Haasil. He makes my kind of cinema. The characters in his films are excellent,” said Ravi, who portrayed the role of a woman in Bullett Raja.He says the role was quite challenging. “This has been my most challenging role in the 22 years of my career. I have never played a woman. I also make out with a woman in the film, while wearing a sari. It's completely mad,” reveals Ravi.Produced by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja also features Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergil, Vidyut Jamwal and others. It was released on November 28 with mixed reviews.

Commando star Vidyut Jamwal, who recently starred in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja, has successfully impressed the audience as well as critics with his chiseled packs and high kicks. The film released on last Friday, and opened to good reviews from the critics.Even though his role was not a lengthy one in Bullett Raja, still Vidyut successfully impressed one and all. And now Vidyut is all set to take up the title of Action Hero of film industry. Quizzed why he decided to do the film despite it being a special appearance, he said, ''The driving force for Bullett Raja was Tigmanshu Dhulia. I love the way he makes movies. And I being a North Indian, I love the way he portrays the belt. Nobody else in the country does it. So when he told me I was very excited, though it was a small one.'' Excited about bring part of the film, Vidyut said, ''For me Bullett Raja was a double whammy as it is a Tigmanshu Dhulia film with action sequences.'' The film was presented by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja, and it starred Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan and Raj Babbar among others.

Being a Gujarati, Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi has all the traits of the community, and as the Navratri festival is on full-swing, he is also keen on getting into dandiya mode. He wants to pick up the dandiya sticks and dance his way out."I love dandiya. Being a Gujarati, dandiya is in my blood. During my college days, I was a champion in dandiya and used to win the first prize in it," Sharman said.Sharing past memories of the festival, he said, "During this time, you are allowed to go out even at night and play dandiya, besides you have girls in your groups too. This makes it the best time." His film Gang of Ghosts is a remake of the 2012 Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat, of which he says, "Gang... is a great concept, very unique and exceptional. Though it has an ensemble cast, I chose to be part of it as I have seen the original and was very impressed. I play the character that Sabyasachi Chakrabarty did in the Bengali version, that of a struggling writer. And this is the only character that has been changed slightly in the Hindi version while the other characters remain the same."Next he will be seen in Faraz Haider’s war comedy War Chhod Na Yaar, which also stars Jaaved Jaffrey, Soha Ali Khan and Sanjay Mishra. It will release on October 11.

The ethereal Sonakshi Sinha is all set to impress the audience with her charm with upcoming release of hers, Bullett Raja, where she will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan. The romantic number from the film, Saamne Hai Savera was released recently, and it was shot against the backdrop of the old-world charm of Kolkata. It features Victorian era heritage structures, hand-pulled rickshaws and signature trams. Experiencing it all really made Sonakshi happy and excited as she got to ride a tram there for the first time in her life. Calling it an overwhelming experience, Sonakshi says, "This tram was like 100 years, almost like a time machine. It had a very romantic feel to it and made you just want to stop and look around. It was a very 'dreamy' tram indeed, but unfortunately I'd no one to share it with."The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is also co-producing it with Nitin Tej Ahuja and Rahul Mitra. It talks about the mafia based in Uttar Pradesh, and besides Saif and Sonakshi, it features Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar and Chunky Pandey. Bullett Raja, presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Moving Pictures and BrandSmith Motion Pictures, releases November 29.

B-town actor Vidyut Jamwal is all set to flaunt his action skills yet again in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja. Speaking about the same, Jamwal said Dhulia is such a fine filmmaker that it is not right to question the filmmaker’s decision or doubt his instructions."It's not a big role in Bullett Raja, but the action I do in the film is completely different," said Vidyut, who debuted with Force, and was next seen in Commando. Vidyut is a nationa-level gymnast, and is an expert in     , which is a form of martial arts from Kerala."Whatever he said, I did it in the film because you can't question a filmmaker like Tigmanshu, he is one of the greatest filmmakers in our country," he said of Dhulia. Bullett Raja stars Saif Ali Khan in lead role, and the promos of the films are out.Happy with the response the promos are getting, Vidyut said, "It's amazing and very overwhelming when you get positive response from the audience. As I said, it's not a big role, but the bits and pieces that the audience has seen in the promos, they have liked it so far."Bullett Raja is set for release on November 29!

Shotgun's darling daughter, Sonakshi Sinha is playing a Bengali character in her upcoming Saif Ali Khan starrer Bullet Raja. It would be nice to see the actress portraying something different from her previous work where she mostly played similar kind of roles. Her bong girl avatar will be for a brief period in the film.Like seen in the promo, Sonakshi cladding in the conventional Bengali red-bordered saree along with big red bindi, gajra and alta on her hands, she would also be seen essaying the famous Bengali folk dance Jhumur in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action-thriller. As per the sources, “To perfect the dance form, the actress specially learnt Jhumur dance for the film.”Apart from high-octane action stunts, guns and goon, the film features a love-story of Saif and Sonakshi. It also stars actors like Vidyut Jamwal, Jimmy Shergill, Gulshan Grover in prominent roles. Fukrey actress Vishakha Singh believes in doing quality work; that is the reason that she has rejected back-to-back films, which came her way after the success of Fukrey, which also starred Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda and Priya Anand.Also seen in films like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Ankur Arora Murder Case, the actress is keen on doing roles, which offer her to prove her mettle in acting. "Post Fukrey, I have refused seven scripts. It's important to do what you completely believe in," Vishakha said. "I am game for anything - from drama, comedy, to thriller, romance and family entertainer. I want to try my hands at everything. I want to focus on good scripts where I have a pivotal role," added the actress, who will soon make her Malayalam debut with Rajesh Pillai's Motorcycle Diaries."The divide between the film industries is diminishing. I am comfortable in multiple languages. Once in a while, if good scripts like Motorcycle Diaries in Malayalam or a romantic comedy ValebRaja in Tamil comes my way, I will take them up," she said.Even though she is quite a known her in film industry, but doesn’t let that take a toll in her personal life. "I am not part of the rat race. At the end of the day, I know I did it on my own without a mentor, godfather or recommendations," Vishakha said. "I have seen the lows of the career very early on and have come to the conclusion that a Friday can change everything. Filmmaker Punit Malhotra, whose directorial Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases soon, says that he wanted the film to be a two-hero two-heroine, and for the same, he wanted Saif Ali Khan to be the other hero, besides Imran Khan. "At one point of time this film was a two hero-two heroine subject. I only went to the boys. It was Saif and Imran. But for some reasons that didn't work out. I then made it into a solo hero film," says Punit. After making debut with I Hate Luv Storys, Punit took quite long to come up with his next."Imran made me wait a lot. I took three drafts to him, he had issues with first and second draft. When I went for the third time, he approved the first draft only. That led to the delay but I have no complaints," said Punit. Meanwhile, rumours had that Shahid Kapoor was approached for the project.Speaking on the same, Punit said that he did approach another actor, but denied naming him. "Imran initially rejected it, so I went to another actor, but that didn't work out and I made the changes in the script and went back to Imran and then he liked the first draft itself," he said.He also revealed that Saif rejected the offer. "Things with Saif never worked out, but he said take Kareena. We also felt at some point that there is too much happening, so we mellowed it down and made it one hero film," Punit said."We were first waiting for Imran's approval and after that happened, we started thinking about the female lead opposite him. Imran asked me who I wanted, I said Kareena but I felt she was beyond my reach," the director said."Also she had lot of projects in hand at that time. Then it so happened that she walked out of those projects and her dates opened up. I called her, narrated the script and it worked out well," he said. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases on November 22!
