B-town actress Deepika Padukone welcomed fame early in her life, being the daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Also he got to travel places early in her life, as most importantly she was born in the foreign country, and also it happens to be the best place for her.Talking in depth about her favorite destinations and food, she says, “Since I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, it is my favourite city. And when I get the time, I love to shop in London and Dubai, that satisfies my shoe fetish. My wardrobe keeps on changing according to the advice of my designers.”“However, I love street shopping. And wherever I go I take time out to shop to my heart’s content. I also love Bhopal. While shooting for Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan I loved the peace and serenity of Bhopal. In the evenings, when the day’s shoot was over, I would love to take a cup of coffee and sit by the window and enjoy the sunset,” she adds.On the food, she reveals, “I always carry homemade food while travelling. I am very fond of south Indian dishes made by mom. And she still worries about my food when I am travelling. In any country, I always look forward to eating at Indian restaurants.”“Recently I travelled by road from Chandigarh to Manali and due to delays, I left my food behind in Chandigarh. Luckily my mother’s advice to my staff saved the day. She had directed my staff to always carry packets of biscuits and these biscuits came as a blessing during the trip,” says Deepika.“I love to go on holidays after a film shoot is done. I also love to go to Bengaluru where my parents live especially because I relish my mom’s dishes. Now since I have my own flat in Mumbai, my parents can join me often,” she concludes.Keep enjoying, girl!

Actors often complaints that they cannot bear the harsh rays of sunlight and that’s why they travel in tint sheeted cars. But, as per the Indian government’s rule book, it is a crime to have tinted films in cars. Government had banned the use of tinted glass, restricting visions beyond permissible limit as fixed under the Motor Vehicles Act, in vehicles.However, Bollywood celebrities are often caught by traffic police having tinted car windows. Recently actors Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan have been reprimanded by traffic police for the tinted films in their cars. While, the Kahaani actress sweetly pays the fine every time but has requested the cops to let her keep the tinted film because she cannot handle the sunlight. Other side, Ajay Devgn bowled the cops over with his conscientiousness and had the tinted film removed immediately. Now the latest to join the bandwagon is Salman Khan, who was on his way to South Mumbai in his high-end vehicle. As per the reports, “The traffic cops stopped the vehicle at the Worli exit for the light tinted film. But once they spotted Salman Khan in it, the sombre mood immediately changed and the actor was greeted with a wide smile. The cops reportedly took pictures with the star on their mobile phones. The cops allegedly let off Salman with a light warning.”

We all are aware of the fact that Aamir Khan is very much protective and concerned about his kids, whether they’re Junaid and daughter Ira from his first wife Reena Dutta or a one-year-old son Azad with second wife Kiran Rao. At the moment B-town actor Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his time with family as he is on furlough for 14 days from Yerwada Central Prison. However, it is learnt that due to health reasons he is seeking an extension of 14 more days.He has already written an application and the decision would be out today and it will be taken by the Mumbai police, a senior officer from the prison department said. For those unaware, Dutt is facing 42-month sentence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.However, he came out of prison on furlough by the state prisons department on October 1. Now his leave period ends on October 15, and he is expected to surrender on October 16 as furlough excludes the period of travel.Meanwhile, not only Dutt, but every prisoner has the right to seek extension of leave for two weeks, however, one must mention ailment reason in the application, as only then will it be considered a police report is sought afresh. Also going by the manual, only one extension can be granted. Sources from Yerwada jail said that they have received the actor’s application. "Dutt has also attached medical certificates with the application. We have asked for a report from police. We expect it by Monday. We will decide after we get it," the officer said.Let’s wait for the decision to come out today!

This is first time that Blender’s Pride fashion tour experienced show stoppers as dancers rather than the usual Bollywood star walking the ramp.Both Sandip and Jesse looked absolutely stunning in Wendell Rodricks creations while performing on the stage. The colourful and vibrant line of veteran designer Wendell Rodricks mesmerised the audience and the moves of the dynamic duo spell bounded the viewers.Sandip Soparrkar said, “It was amazing dancing for our dear friend Wendell, he is a very creative and a wonderful person, I am glad that both our opening and the show stopper dances were appreciated, Jesse and me are looking forward to the other shows of the tour.”The Seagram's Blenders Pride Fashion Tour '13 brought the fusion of dance and fashion with designer Wendell Rodricks and choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, Wendell’s collection was the closing of the Chandigarh shows.Wendell Rodricks said, "The show was one of its kind where dance took the centre stage and there were no modelling on the ramp, it was more of big party on stage. Jesse and Sandip showcased the collection to perfection with their outstanding moves. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who had undergone a brain surgery for the removal of a clot in July this year, heads to an unrevealed location abroad for his medical treatment. He is reportedly been suffering bouts of headache and will undergo through the medical check-up to his surgery. Earlier, his brain operation was held at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.     His director father Rakesh Roshan also confirmed his travel plan. He said on Friday, “Hrithik is leaving on Saturday. He will be going with a friend.” When asked if Hrithik would be accompanied by his parents, Rakesh Roshan said, “We'll join him if there is a need for us to do so.” Does it mean the films, Hrithik was working on has been put on hold until he will not be done with the treatment? Sources said Hrithik's next project Shuddhi, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra, has been postponed to July 2014.Sources said, “Shuddhi is a story of reincarnation. Films about rebirth are always tricky to pull off. The script of Shuddhi needs more work. Hrithik's health is not the issue here, the script needs to be polished.” Hrithik Roshan has been roped in opposite Kareena Kapoor in Shuddhi.Hrithik was last seen in Rakesh Roshan’s directorial Krrish 3 that minted huge money at box-office. Academy Award winning Bosnian filmmaker Danis Tavonic is not happy that The Good Road has been chosen over The Lunchbox as the representative to compete for the Oscar in the best foreign language film category this year. He claims that he didn’t say this because he has co-produced The Lunchbox, starring Irrfan Khan as lead. For the uninitiated, the Film Federation of India (FFI) chose The Good Road, a Gujarati travel drama, over Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox, as they felt that the former movie reflects an India that our movies usually don't showcase. "You had a chance and you don't have it anymore," Tanovic said, adding: "If I could give my place to The Lunchbox, I would give it." Tavonic is unhappy that The Lunchbox didn’t get the chance. "It's still stuck in my throat - the decision... If you ought to win an Oscar, then you put the better horse in the race. The best horse was The Lunchbox," Tanovic said at the ongoing Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF). "They should know it from Lagaan. Lagaan was the last Indian film in the Oscar shortlist and it had the backing of Sony Pictures Classics, due to which they managed it. I spoke to somebody in India and asked them, 'Why did you send The Good Road? The person responded - 'It is a good film'." "It's not a question of a good film. It's about whether you really want to win an Oscar, or do you want to send a film which you think is great," said Tanovic. Guess everyone has an opinion on this subject!
