In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

Least people know that Gang of Wasseypur fame, Huma Qureshi, is a big fan of bollywood superstar Salman Khan. She admires the Dabangg actor ardently and recently gets the chance to meet him on the sets of Bigg Boss 7. The beautiful actress, along with Madhuri Dixit, visited the TV reality show for the promotions of their upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya.It was weekend ka wow episode and Salman Khan introduced the two beautiful actresses on the sets through a dance performance with each. During the interaction time, shy girl Huma revealed that she is a big fan of Salman Khan. She also went inside the Bigg Boss 7 house and from there she said, “I am a big fan of yours and that is the reason, I watch Bigg Boss.”Huma’s revelation brought smile on Salman’s face and he replied to her by saying, “Arre, aap ne pehle kyu nahi bataya agar bataati toh mere saath yahan hoti.”Huma made her feature-film debut with a supporting role in the 2012 critically acclaimed crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and Part 2 as Mohsina. Her performance won wide critical acclaim, earning several nominations in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Female Debut category (including the Filmfare). The following year, she was the lead in romantic comedy Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, a commercial flop; however, her performance was praised by film critics.Her next Dedh Ishqiya is releasing on January 10, 2014.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor who has high regard for his female actresses, and it was only few months’ back that he announced that his name would be preceded by his heroine's name in his films. And it started with Deepika Padukone, with whom he starred in Chennai Express.On his part, SRK feels that the decision was no big deal. He was speaking at NDTV-Vedanta's Our Girls, Our Pride fundraising telethon. As a believer in ‘ladies first’, SRK didn’t think that it was that big a gesture. He said, "I don't think it's a huge gesture. When I started out, I had some really wonderful ladies like Madhuri, Juhi and Sridevi helping me out with my work and as the years passed they started giving me star status and it became very embarrassing. So I decided to put my name at the end and the lady's before mine."SRK was speaking to telethon co-hosts Priyanka Chopra and Vikram Chandra via satellite from Dubai. He was also upset with the fact that in India female foeticide still exists. "It is an extremely unfortunate thought process. A child is a child and I don't think any woman or boy is better than the other. Each person has his or her own circumstances and education. If buzz has to be believed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who is currently shooting in London for Sajid Khan’s Humshakal, is pondering to throw a big bash on actress-wife Kareena Kapoor’s birthday. She celebrates her birthday on September 21 and reportedly will be with Saif on the big day in London.

In Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, it is leading actor Imran Khan, who is playing the aashiq trying to woo back his girl Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, things are pretty different in real life. It is Bebo aka Kareena who passed the test of ultimate aashiq, when she came in the sets of Amitabh Bachchan's television show Kaun Banega Crorepati, to promote her film, GTPM.She told Big B about her aashiq moment, as she said, ''I was a female aashiq when I met Saif first.'' When Big B asked her to define the ultimate aashiq moment, she gave away, ''I was in Ladakh shooting for 3 Idiots and there was heavy snowfall. It was my birthday and Saif was planning to come there but all the flights were cancelled. So I was obviously upset as I wanted to spend the day with him.'' ''So we were thinking about what should be done and Saif said that he will go to Bombay and I was like no. I wanted to meet him, and I'm very ziddi and I was like milna hai milna hai milna hai... I don't care. ''And finally Amit Uncle I took the car at 6.00 in the morning and drove for 11 hours from Leh to Kargil and Saif took a flight from Delhi to Srinagar and then drove from Srinagar to Kargil and we met!'' Upon hearing her side, Big B tagged Kareena as the real female aashiq!
