Courtesy her two singles, In My City and Exotic, Priyanka Chopra has made quite a few friends with American singers. Recently, when she travelled New York, she was spotted rubbing shoulders with Ashanti, the R&B songstress, who is rather known for her risqué sartorial choices than her music. Priyanka was making her presence felt at the opening of a nightclub in Manhattan, when she encountered Ashanti. Despite the first meet, they appeared to be quite friendly with each other, and quickly struck up a conversation and then happily posed for the shutterbugs. Looks like, Pee Cee is quite enjoying making new friends in the USA, as last time she was spotted partying with football stars including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and this time it is with pop-stars. Meanwhile, if we speak of her Bollywood career, she would be seen shaking a leg in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Ramleela, where she has donned a white choli and dhoti with a thigh high slit.Choreographed by Prabhu Deva's brother Vishnu Dev, the item number was shot in the Film City Studios. Impressed with Priyanka's dancing skills, Vishnu tweeted: “Ram leela 2nd song finished with Priyanka she is fabulous dancer and fun working with her.”The film features Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as its leading stars, and also stars Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Devaiah, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Shweta Salve, Barkha Bisht Sengupta and Sharad Kelkar.

The song from exotic looking Deepika Padukone and dapper dhoti-clad Ranveer Singh to rocking garba moves and melodious voices features everything in one composition. Thanks to the choreography which beautifully captures the Navratri festive spirit.The film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, well-known for his art-work in his films, has worked on the music section of the film himself. From costumes designing of the lead protagonists to look of the song, he has given his own style to the track. He himself worked on the outfit of Deepika, who is looking drop dead gorgeous in her red lehenga, while Ranveer is looking quite splendid in his red turban.  The song, released on the festivity of Navratri, has turned extremely popular among garba lovers and is heard playing during the entire Dandiya festival. The song will remind you off Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, this peppy number is rocking with its dance moves, foot-tapping beats and the sizzling chemistry between Deepika and Ranveer.We must say this is a huge feat for the entire team as it is a highly awaited film from SLB's kitty. The film is slated to release on November 15, 2013.

Ekta Kapoor’s long running TV show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been grabbing attention post the big-fat generation leap. Ankita Lokhande, the protagonist is now seen playing double role and the storyline has been shifted to a completely new block. In the coming episodes, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande) will be seen taking a major decision of her life. To bring out her family from the financial crisis, she will get herself ready to marry her boss Naren (Karan Mehra), who suffers from a mental ailment. She sacrifies her life to make her siblings financially stable. According to the sources, “Archana's mother-in-law, Savita tai (Usha Nadkarni) and mother Sulochana (Savita Prabhune) will be seen inviting characters from various shows on the channel to attend the wedding. The wedding will be aired in an hour-and-a-half long shaadi-special maha episode, which is currently being shot.”Popular characters like, Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) of Qubool Hai Rachana (Mahima Makwana) of Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke and Shivani (Mansi Shrivastava) of Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, will join the wedding bash and will see dancing at the sangeet ceremony.Sources added, “Kamla (Shilpa Shirodkar) and Vitthal (Mohit Dagga) of Ek Mutthi Asmaan, Shail (Vaishnavi Mahant) and Seema (Alka Mogha) of Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Farhaan ( Vishal Nayak), Nikhat (Archana Taide) and Haseena (Nishi Singh) of Qubool Hai, Shruti (Gautami Kapoor) and Sanjay (Manav Gohil) of Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi will also be seen blessing the couple.”The drama in the wedding will toll high when Naren gets one of his occasional fits and this creates quite a stir among the guests. This everyone knows that Deepika Padukone stars in Farah Khan’s directorial Happy New Year, however, you might be glad to know that the Bengaluru beauty plays a Maharashtrian in Happy New Year. Hence, while auditioning for the role, which took place at film’s star Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat, Deepika was apparently dressed in some bright, tacky clothes in perfect sync with her character. Deepika was so into the character that when SRK's daughter Suhana saw the test shots on Deepika's phone, she apparently asked the actress, "Where are you in this?" Later on, Deepika went on to sweetly explain the little girl that she was in those loud clothes. This in itself speaks that Deepika was so much into the character while auditioning that even SRK’s daughter was in fence on which one Deepika really was among the pictures.Meanwhile, buzz also has that Jaipur court has asked police to register a case against Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Ranveer Singh, actress Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in their upcoming movie Ram Leela, a lawyer said.

Being a Gujarati, Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi has all the traits of the community, and as the Navratri festival is on full-swing, he is also keen on getting into dandiya mode. He wants to pick up the dandiya sticks and dance his way out."I love dandiya. Being a Gujarati, dandiya is in my blood. During my college days, I was a champion in dandiya and used to win the first prize in it," Sharman said.Sharing past memories of the festival, he said, "During this time, you are allowed to go out even at night and play dandiya, besides you have girls in your groups too. This makes it the best time." His film Gang of Ghosts is a remake of the 2012 Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat, of which he says, "Gang... is a great concept, very unique and exceptional. Though it has an ensemble cast, I chose to be part of it as I have seen the original and was very impressed. I play the character that Sabyasachi Chakrabarty did in the Bengali version, that of a struggling writer. And this is the only character that has been changed slightly in the Hindi version while the other characters remain the same."Next he will be seen in Faraz Haider’s war comedy War Chhod Na Yaar, which also stars Jaaved Jaffrey, Soha Ali Khan and Sanjay Mishra. It will release on October 11.
