The most talked about musical dramas are now set to clash. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Ram Leela', the promo of which has already been unveiled, was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangna Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’ is too releasing on the same date.With so much effort put in to make delightful film the Director of Rajjo Vishwas Patil says –“I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujra wali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means”.The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. ‘Rajjo’ would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.Well few people are talking about why Kangna wants her film release on a same date of Ramleela, But the makers of Rajjo says-“ However once the final cut of the 'Rajjo' was seen by people concerned, there was an added sense of confidence. It was felt that the originally decided date would be just right to set the stage for 'Rajjo' v/s 'Leela',".We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.About the film Kangna seem confident, she says "Rajjo' is really close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this festive season. As for competition with other films, there would be one every week in any case. I am sure my producers are taking a good call and it comes from the trust and confidence they have in the product. I am particularly proud of the film and my work. The film is special and it will fetch an audience of its own. I strongly believe in director Vishwas Patil and music director Uttam Singh. Once you see the promos, which would be out very soon, you would know what I mean." Attending the three day fest, Cinema beyond Boundaries in New York, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar feels good with the international film dignities. He is exchanging notes with Hollywood directors, writers and music composers on understanding the global perspective in cinema. The director also said that Indian film industry and Hollywood can learn a lot from each other as the two industries seek to cater to the evolving nature of cinema.“There will be something that I take from them and they will take from us. While Hollywood has had a huge influence on the Indian industry, Bollywood and its actors too are garnering a lot of attention in the western film world,” said the filmmaker, who is well-known for his films like Chandni Bar, Page 3, Fashion and Heroine. The event would focus on the global influence of Indian cinema, forecast changes in the fast growing and rapidly evolving filmmaking industry. “Cinema has changed drastically over the years and films are now being made in different genres like commercial, edgy and radical to cater to the tastes of an evolving viewership,” he added.“Indian cinema is no more limited to audiences in India. We have viewers all around the world and hence understanding the global perspective is a must. Cinema Beyond Boundaries would get the viewers and the filmmakers together and would help us in serving them with good quality cinema,” Bhandarkar said. Well said Madhur Bhandarkar!

While most celebrities complain of not being able to enjoy their private life due to media scrutiny, actress Ileana D’Cruz is perfectly fine with it, and she is glad that she can go shopping without getting mobbed. Last seen in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Ileana is having fun with her freedom."People don't recognise me, so I can shop like any girl," she says. In fact she says it with big smile on her face, and there is no dejection that even after giving two back-to-back hits, she doesn’t enjoy huge fan following. May be it has to do with her being a private person."I am a very private person, I don't open up easily to people, I take some time. Unless I really trust somebody I can't start a conversation. Maybe if I slowly and gradually know a person that I open up. I am incredibly emotional and sensitive," says Ileana D'Cruz.She further adds, "Possibly because I am in a new place and hence I prefer keeping to myself. When I was doing my first film Barfi I was very nervous and I was working with two other actors who were established and I didn't have much to say. Recently, when she travelled New York, she was spotted rubbing shoulders with Ashanti, the R&B songstress, who is rather known for her risqué sartorial choices than her music. Priyanka was making her presence felt at the opening of a nightclub in Manhattan, when she encountered Ashanti. Despite the first meet, they appeared to be quite friendly with each other, and quickly struck up a conversation and then happily posed for the shutterbugs. Looks like, Pee Cee is quite enjoying making new friends in the USA, as last time she was spotted partying with football stars including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and this time it is with pop-stars. Meanwhile, if we speak of her Bollywood career, she would be seen shaking a leg in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Ramleela, where she has donned a white choli and dhoti with a thigh high slit.Choreographed by Prabhu Deva's brother Vishnu Dev, the item number was shot in the Film City Studios. Impressed with Priyanka's dancing skills, Vishnu tweeted: “Ram leela 2nd song finished with Priyanka she is fabulous dancer and fun working with her.”The film features Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as its leading stars, and also stars Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Devaiah, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Shweta Salve, Barkha Bisht Sengupta and Sharad Kelkar.

Entire B-town is gung-ho about the recently released trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming directorial Ramleela. They all have good things to say about the way the film has been picturised, and it is very much visible in the trailer.The chemistry between the lead pair, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is cracking, and it has already become the talk of the town.Amitabh Bachchan said on a social networking site, "Saw trailer of Ramleela...stunning! The colours, the passion, the Deepika...!!" On the other side, Deepika’s Happy New Year director, Farah Khan said, "The trailer is fabulous. Deepika looks fantastic; the chemistry between her and Ranveer looks good. The film seems to bring back the memories of Sanjay's previous films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. It looks very happy and colourful."Bhansali is over cloud nine hearing the appreciation coming his way. "The film is extremely close to my heart and for its first glance to be received this warmly, is overwhelming," he says. Producer Sunil Lulla said, "We are ecstatic with the unanimous, positive reviews and we couldn't be more excited with the reception."Ram Leela, produced by Eros International, releases November 15.

Son of veteran actor-comedian Jagdeep, actor Javed Jaffrey claims that he never used his father’s name to get work in the film industry. The multi-talented chap is known for his roles in films like 100 Days, Fire, Earth, Salaam Namaste, Singh is Kingg and 3 Idiots and others."Being the son or daughter of a legendary film personality you get more respect. But I have never used that as an influence to enter industry. It is not that I got work because of him. My father did not do a film for me or launched me, he wanted us to do things on our own," Javed said."Rather I never thought I will enter the film industry, it happened all by chance. Destiny played a part and brought me here in this industry," he said. Jaffrey is known for his versatility, as he has done positive, negative as well as comic roles. "I like to play all kind of roles. You can't do same stuff every time as it becomes boring. Comedy is my soft spot. But I love doing action, thriller, drama and negative. I am not comfortable with sexuality, intimate scenes," he said.Next, he will appear in debutante director Faraz Haider's War Chhod Na Yaar. "I am playing captain Qureshi from the Punjab region of Pakistan. So my tone in the film is Punjabi-Urdu. The film establishes relationship in an interesting way. I had great fun doing this film," he said.The film also stars Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan!

Doing an initiative along with The Clean & Clear MTV Dream Project, which helps to fulfill the dreams of over a thousand homeless girls, Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor feels he is living his dream. The initiative is a joint project of M.A.D and The Clean & Clear that has titled Ketto. The actor, who has provided professional services through Ketto, has personally helped fulfill 17-year-old Manisha's dream, through a platform that connects people to a 1000 young, underprivileged girls across India, to make their small yet precious dreams come true. In Manisha's case, it meant a cycle to take her younger siblings to school.Kunal expressed, “Initiatives such as these help individuals like us to fulfill the dreams of these girls. When I got the chance to be that helping hand for Manisha to achieve her simple yet precious dream, I felt so much happiness! More so, I was very moved by what her dream was, she did not want the cycle for herself but for her siblings. I hope that girls like Manisha never stop dreaming.”Manisha, whose father is a cancer patient, has been living in Mumbai with her family for the last 12 years. She said, “My father has been suffering from cancer for quite a while. My mother has to spend most of her time in the hospital, to meet doctors, buy medicines and support my father. I did my best to make our lives better. Being the eldest child, I took the responsibility of taking care of the house and my younger siblings. The play school they go to is very far, and I walk everyday to pick them up as they cannot come on their own. That is why my dream was to own a cycle, so that I pick them up and come home safe and continue with my other tasks.”We appreciate your move Kunal.

Tigmanshu Dhulia brings Saif Ali Khan back with bang, as he stars in the former’s upcoming film Bullett Raja. Speaking on the association, Dhulia says, "I worked with Soha Ali Khan on Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and I'm sure she spoke to her brother about this script. Saif, in turn, expressed a desire to work together. To have an actor with a vernacular image playing this role would have been boring.'' "I needed someone like Saif, who is charming and sophisticated, because it's more of a challenge to get him to play something the audience will not normally associate him with. My hero is not dark and intense. He is endearing and impulsive. In fact, Saif never starts a fight in the film, but he ensures he always finishes it.'' In the film, Saif is teamed up with Sonakshi Sinha. Tigmanshu says, "After years, I saw a screen couple that has the Amitabh-Rekha magic. Saif and Sona are in sharp contrast with each other and therein lies the interest factor. Who would not like to shake a leg with the dashing star of the Bollywood industry aka John Abraham? The actor who can give you shrills with his slight smile is one of the most desired hunk of the industry, but what sources say is something really unusual. Huma Qureshi, who has not been in the industry for long has refused to do an item song with John Abraham in the upcoming movie Welcome Back. The actress, who was seen in the famous Anurag Kashyap’s movie Gangs of Wasseypur, has recently turned down the offer to shake a leg with Johnny boy since her demands were not being accepted by the filmmakers. It is being speculated that the actress was not happy with the paycheque, but was really keen to work with John. A close source to Huma said, “The makers of the film were very keen on signing her for the song but other commitments came in the way of her chance to dance with John.”When Anees Bazmee was contacted for the same, he put forth both the points, he said, “We wanted to have her in the song but then there were date issues. Also, she asked for a lot of money and that became a problem for us.”Now John will be seen with six girls in the song. We think that the actor has become even luckier with Huma’s refusal.

Actors often complaints that they cannot bear the harsh rays of sunlight and that’s why they travel in tint sheeted cars. But, as per the Indian government’s rule book, it is a crime to have tinted films in cars. Government had banned the use of tinted glass, restricting visions beyond permissible limit as fixed under the Motor Vehicles Act, in vehicles.However, Bollywood celebrities are often caught by traffic police having tinted car windows. Recently actors Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan have been reprimanded by traffic police for the tinted films in their cars. While, the Kahaani actress sweetly pays the fine every time but has requested the cops to let her keep the tinted film because she cannot handle the sunlight. Other side, Ajay Devgn bowled the cops over with his conscientiousness and had the tinted film removed immediately. Now the latest to join the bandwagon is Salman Khan, who was on his way to South Mumbai in his high-end vehicle. As per the reports, “The traffic cops stopped the vehicle at the Worli exit for the light tinted film. But once they spotted Salman Khan in it, the sombre mood immediately changed and the actor was greeted with a wide smile. The cops reportedly took pictures with the star on their mobile phones. The cops allegedly let off Salman with a light warning.”

The multifaceted star, Farhan Khan has formed a rock band and has planned to tour with it, performing shows. Called Farhan Live, the nine-member band has been performing in different places around the world, including Goa (performance venue- the annual Carnival Celebrations of Goa, where around 15,000 people were gathered). Farhan along with music director Pritam also performed recently in Dubai.Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan's young son, Siddharth Mahadevan, who provided hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag title track, is also touring with Farhan Akhtar's band and feels privileged to be working along with the star.An elated Siddharth shares, “This is really an unbelievable opportunity and I consider myself very fortunate and humbled to be a part of Farhan's tour. He's such an incredible all-round artist and just to share the same stage as him will be an honour in itself.
