We all are aware of the fact that Aamir Khan is very much protective and concerned about his kids, whether they’re Junaid and daughter Ira from his first wife Reena Dutta or a one-year-old son Azad with second wife Kiran Rao. Whenever he gets time to spend with them, he never misses a chance and utilizes it to the core.Recently, while he was in Mumbai and he had taken time off from work to babysit one-year-old Azad because wife Kiran Rao was travelling. And as of now he is in Delhi, shooting for his forthcoming film Peekay for filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, where he’s spending time with Junaid, who is being the assistant of the director in the film. Reportedly, Aamir is the one who suggested his 18-year-old son Junaid Khan not to take up acting yet, but instead start by learning about Indian cinema. Subsequently, Junaid has taken up the role of an assistant director to film-maker Rajkumar Hirani for Peekay.      Sources from the sets said it is gathered that Aamir was seen having heart-to-heart conversations with his young son. The actor knows that Junaid is on the threshold of adult life and he wants to be there for him when the young man makes important decisions, be it in matters of the heart or career.

Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, who was recently in news for his split with controversial girlfriend Miley Cyrus, is said to have hurt his finger in a bid to make an impression on fans by playing a daring game of Five Finger Fillet in front of them.All set to be seen in upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Hemsworth, 23, was participating in a press show when he by chance struck his finger while playing the game in which a player places his palm down, spreads his fingers and attempts to stab in between the spaces with a sharp object.Not only that he ended up hurting his finger, but in the process he also damaged a $10,000 table. While about the incident on the chat show, Hemsworth said, "It was the first stop we did on The Hunger Games press tour and I wanted to impress everyone and I'd had a couple of drinks. I missed a little bit on the little pinky - see the black dot? Apparently it was a $10,000 table as well that I ruined." Speaking about the same, Hemsworth said that he always believed that he can’t ever go wrong in this game, as he has been playing it since long. "I used to do it a lot in science class when I was in high school - I didn't love science class. So I'd sit there in this class and use my pen to do this. You start with a pen and work your way up to a knife," said Hemsworth.

Veteran actress Madhoo, who is eyeing to make comeback in Bollywood films, says she would like to do work that has been done by actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. She is looking to take up challenging work.She is known for her work in films like Roja, Diljale and Phool Aur Kaante. Madhoo has already started working down South."My south films have started releasing. One film released last month and did 50 days run, so I believe it's a hit. I have signed a couple of films and will start shooting soon. I have started acting again and I am enjoying that. Hopefully I will do a Hindi film soon, waiting for right movie to come to me," said Madhoo. The actress would love to take up interesting film offers and wishes that filmmakers approach her with variety of scripts. "I don't want to say things and limit myself as an actress. I am at a juncture in my life where I can explore and do many different things. I would want producers and creative people to think of something really challenging and wonderful for me as an actress," Madhoo said."When you are younger and playing a heroine, at that time things are pretty similar - like falling in love with the hero and getting married in the end. But now the movies and characterization are different. I can do many more things than I did earlier in my life. It is like Chintuji Amitji, like they are doing fantastic roles now. I hope I can find something like that too," she said.Hope it comes your way soon!

Filmmaker Punit Malhotra, whose directorial Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases soon, says that he wanted the film to be a two-hero two-heroine, and for the same, he wanted Saif Ali Khan to be the other hero, besides Imran Khan. "At one point of time this film was a two hero-two heroine subject. I only went to the boys. It was Saif and Imran. But for some reasons that didn't work out. I then made it into a solo hero film," says Punit. After making debut with I Hate Luv Storys, Punit took quite long to come up with his next."Imran made me wait a lot. I took three drafts to him, he had issues with first and second draft. When I went for the third time, he approved the first draft only. That led to the delay but I have no complaints," said Punit. Meanwhile, rumours had that Shahid Kapoor was approached for the project.Speaking on the same, Punit said that he did approach another actor, but denied naming him. "Imran initially rejected it, so I went to another actor, but that didn't work out and I made the changes in the script and went back to Imran and then he liked the first draft itself," he said.He also revealed that Saif rejected the offer. "Things with Saif never worked out, but he said take Kareena. We also felt at some point that there is too much happening, so we mellowed it down and made it one hero film," Punit said."We were first waiting for Imran's approval and after that happened, we started thinking about the female lead opposite him. Imran asked me who I wanted, I said Kareena but I felt she was beyond my reach," the director said."Also she had lot of projects in hand at that time. Then it so happened that she walked out of those projects and her dates opened up. I called her, narrated the script and it worked out well," he said. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases on November 22!

After I did a dance number in my Punjabi film Carry on Jatta, that is when directors felt I can actually dance. Since then, I have got a lot of offers for item songs. I am happy with my dance number in Zanjeer and I am looking forward for my next in Saif Ali Khan's Bullett Raja," said the actress during her visit to her hometown Chandigarh.She did quality work in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series, and masala roles doesn’t interest her to much extent. "I am very choosy about my scripts. After doing bold roles, I can't settle for anything less," she said adding that her decision is guided by scripts."I don't make a conscious choice to choose unconventional roles. If I like the script, I go for it. For me, the script has to be interesting. Even if I have two to three scenes in a film, I don't mind doing it if they are worth it," the 37-year-old said.Way to go!

It’s time for actress Jennifer Lawrence to make a cameo appearance in the Dumb and Dumber sequel. The 23-year-old Oscar - winning actress was spotted on the set of the highly-anticipated comedy in Atlanta to play the younger model of Kathleen Turner's character.You may know that in the past Lawrence was heard revealing her interest in the original 1994 flick to late-night host Jimmy Fallon back in January. "I know every word to 'Dumb and Dumber,' 'Step Brothers' and 'Anchorman,'" she had said.And when Fallon asked the beautiful actress on the lines from the films, she came up with all the right answers. Shooting for a cameo was not a tough task for Lawrence as she is currently filming the Hunger Games trilogy in Georgia, which happens to be the same state where Dumb and Dumber 2 is being shot at the moment.The film’s actors, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels shared photos from the set this week dressed in full costumes as, Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, the characters they play in the movie.
