At the moment B-town actor Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his time with family as he is on furlough for 14 days from Yerwada Central Prison. However, it is learnt that due to health reasons he is seeking an extension of 14 more days.He has already written an application and the decision would be out today and it will be taken by the Mumbai police, a senior officer from the prison department said. For those unaware, Dutt is facing 42-month sentence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.However, he came out of prison on furlough by the state prisons department on October 1. Now his leave period ends on October 15, and he is expected to surrender on October 16 as furlough excludes the period of travel.Meanwhile, not only Dutt, but every prisoner has the right to seek extension of leave for two weeks, however, one must mention ailment reason in the application, as only then will it be considered a police report is sought afresh. Also going by the manual, only one extension can be granted. Sources from Yerwada jail said that they have received the actor’s application. "Dutt has also attached medical certificates with the application. We have asked for a report from police. We expect it by Monday. We will decide after we get it," the officer said.Let’s wait for the decision to come out today!

By now everyone must be well-aware of the fact actress Shruti Haasan was recently stalked by her fan, who tried to barge into her house, where she was alone. However, Shruti put up a brave front, and managed to stop the stalker from entering her house.Later, it turned out that the man of staked her was none other than a spot boy, Ashok Shankar Trimukhe, who has worked with Shruti in the past. Trimukhe’s family is shocked that the actress went onto file a police complaint against him.The family members say that Trimukhe is the main earning member of the family of seven, and he was just trying to approach Haasan hoping that she would be able to get his younger brother a permanent job. Trimukhe's sister Shalini, 30, said, "His arrest came as a shock. My brother learnt that Shruti's sister Akshara is embarking on a film career, and thought she would need a spot boy. He was hoping our brother would get a permanent job if Shruti puts in a word. But, the police came knocking on our door...""My brother did not try barging in. He even made an entry in the visitors' dairy and asked the watchman to accompany him. He said when Haasan began shutting the door he tried to stop her by asking if she recognised him. But she slammed the door, hurting his hand," Shalini said.While, Shruti on her part, said, "In all the time this man was on the sets he never approached me or my staff. Had he done, we would have dealt with the matter appropriately. But as a single woman living alone in Mumbai, I take serious offence to someone coming to my house and trying to bargain. I trust the police will know best how to deal with this."We hope justice would be served!

B-town actor Akshaye Khanna is the latest victim of fraudulent investment schemes, as buzz states that he has been duped of Rs. 50 lakh after he was insured of quick return from an investment scheme in the commodity market.All of this was confirmed by a police official on Sunday, as the complaint has been filed at the Malabar Hill police station. "Yes, a complaint was registered at our police station on Friday evening by Akshaye Khanna's lawyer. The current status is that the crime branch is investigating the case. Once we get any update, we can speak on that," senior inspector Vinay Bagade told media. For those unaware, Akshay has filed the complaint against Satyabrata Chakravarty and his wife Sona, president and director, respectively, of Intech Images Private Ltd, who are the prime accused of duping him of Rs. 50 lakh, after promising him that they would double it in 45 days after investing it in the commodity market. Akshaye is elder son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, and his brother Rahul Khanna is also quite active in the film industry, Akshaye has been seen in films like Taal, Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz, Hulchul and Gandhi, My Father. His last release was Gali Gali Chor Hai!

Actors often complaints that they cannot bear the harsh rays of sunlight and that’s why they travel in tint sheeted cars. But, as per the Indian government’s rule book, it is a crime to have tinted films in cars. Government had banned the use of tinted glass, restricting visions beyond permissible limit as fixed under the Motor Vehicles Act, in vehicles.However, Bollywood celebrities are often caught by traffic police having tinted car windows. Recently actors Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan have been reprimanded by traffic police for the tinted films in their cars. While, the Kahaani actress sweetly pays the fine every time but has requested the cops to let her keep the tinted film because she cannot handle the sunlight. Other side, Ajay Devgn bowled the cops over with his conscientiousness and had the tinted film removed immediately. Now the latest to join the bandwagon is Salman Khan, who was on his way to South Mumbai in his high-end vehicle. As per the reports, “The traffic cops stopped the vehicle at the Worli exit for the light tinted film. But once they spotted Salman Khan in it, the sombre mood immediately changed and the actor was greeted with a wide smile. The cops reportedly took pictures with the star on their mobile phones. The cops allegedly let off Salman with a light warning.”
