If this is not enough, Sonam has had her earlobe and cartilage pierced specially for the movie. “Getting our ears pierced when we are kids is easy but to have the cartilage pierced is an extremely painful exercise,” said Sonam, who was given an option to wear artificial jewel in the film. However, despite the fact that it would be extremely hurtful, Sonam was not at all daunted by the whole idea. She immediately agreed to do it as it adds spunk to her character.She plays a physiotherapist and we must say the real life diva is quite kicked about her non-glamorous role in the film. It looks the film will also be seen reflecting in her role in the film.Sonam was last seen in Raanjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Veteran actress Madhoo, who is eyeing to make comeback in Bollywood films, says she would like to do work that has been done by actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. She is looking to take up challenging work.She is known for her work in films like Roja, Diljale and Phool Aur Kaante. Madhoo has already started working down South."My south films have started releasing. One film released last month and did 50 days run, so I believe it's a hit. I have signed a couple of films and will start shooting soon. I have started acting again and I am enjoying that. Hopefully I will do a Hindi film soon, waiting for right movie to come to me," said Madhoo. The actress would love to take up interesting film offers and wishes that filmmakers approach her with variety of scripts. "I don't want to say things and limit myself as an actress. I am at a juncture in my life where I can explore and do many different things. I would want producers and creative people to think of something really challenging and wonderful for me as an actress," Madhoo said."When you are younger and playing a heroine, at that time things are pretty similar - like falling in love with the hero and getting married in the end. But now the movies and characterization are different. I can do many more things than I did earlier in my life. It is like Chintuji Amitji, like they are doing fantastic roles now. Sudha Mishra (Maasiji) who is a 67 years old, divorced and grumpy woman with enormous energy and the ability to live in the present has just come back to her home in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She is a mother to a confused and angry young man who has given up a career in television direction and her divorced husband is a playboy in L.A .While she was away, Sumit, her niece’s fiancé was given the responsibility to take care of the house and was clearly instructed to feed the fish & water the plants. His marriage was hinging on this.At the end of the holiday when Sudha reaches her quaint house and starts it’s inspection with detective accuracy. Had the fish been fed? Had her plants been watered?  She reaches the alcove with her beloved crystal fish bowl and collection of money plants. Everything seems to be in order but is it? As she opens her bedroom door she is taken aback by a woman rushing past her.Sumit had thrown the helluva party for all his friends at Sudha's house and broken all the rules as instructed by her and also handed over the house to an eloping couple, who then handed it over to a miscreant property broker. The house is then taken over by a Haryanvi Jaat who is a cross dressing Kathak Dancer, followed by a tribal family from Mizoram.What ensues is a recap of the events that took place beginning from when Sudha left her house in Sumit’s hands. It is said that they have been dating for quite some time, and now their relationship is said to have gotten serious, as recently Garth met up with his family and friends recently.Sources claim that Elba, 41, entered in relationship with Garth only sometime back. "They've been together for a few months but it's really ramped up recently. They get on brilliantly and she's a real hit with his family and friends. Idris is known as a ladies' man but he's really not at all. He'd rather have banter at the bar than spend all night grafting on women. It would be a completely family affair when Shatrughan Sinha’s production house Shotgun Films’ upcoming film to launch his twin sons Luv and Kush Sinha as main lead role. The production house has also signed director Umesh Shukla for its second film that will feature Sonakshi Sinha as its protagonist. The belle, who has already proved her acting powers, is excited about the re-launch of Shotgun Films. “Everybody has their own production house today. Since we have in-house actors, director and producer, it’s all sorted. Dad later went into politics. As kids we knew he was in show business but didn't look beyond that. So it's great that today we three are reviving the banner. Dad's thrilled and proud of us,” Sonakshi beamed.Does it mean the audience will get to see father-daughter sharing screen space in the coming production ventures? Sonakshi says, “I would love to. But we have to find something that suits his booming personality, he can't do a film for the heck of it.”Shatrughan Singh, who is currently active in political services, was last seen in Hindi film Rakta Charitra, released on 2010. Megastar Shah Rukh Khan was recently invited to the 19th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), where he said that he is looking forward to take Bengali lessons from actress-politician Jaya Bachchan, as he wants to be a true Bengali."Thank you Kolkata for adopting me and giving me the opportunity to be here. I have been coming here for the last three years and I promise you next time I am here I will speak in Bengali so Jaya aunty feels I am truly, truly from Kolkata then. I will come to you and learn from you. So next time when you stand on stage I will be a true Bengali and welcome everyone," said the actor at the event. One may recall that during the inaugural ceremony Jaya Bachchan had said that her hubby Amitabh Bachchan, SRK, and Kamal Haasan are non-real Bengalis. He adds that he likes to entertain viewers doing comedy, even his family (his both children loves him doing comedy films) but he will never go for the adult and offensive genre to amuse them.Ajay Devgn is like a true family man who has two kids, one daughter and a son. He said, “My kids love comedy films. But I cannot always do comedy films and I have vowed that I will not do any vulgar movies that a family cannot sit and watch together. Since past few days megastar Amitabh Bachchan has not been keeping well, however, if believe the old chap, there is nothing much to worry about as the work continues, and he is thankful to his well-wishers for their concern towards his health.He assured his enthusiasts on Saturday that he is improving by posting on his blog about his recent work.  "Concern after my health has reached an unjustified proportion, undeservingly. More has been attributed to it than was factually correct," Big B wrote on his blog."I am getting better by the day... But your concern is legitimate, and I do appreciate your fond get wells," he wrote. Earlier on October 14, he made his fans know that he was down with fever and stomach infection. However, on Oct 17, he returned to his work, shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati."Work continues... So did an ad shoot for a client (on Saturday) and had a surprise visit by Priyanka Chopra who was shooting next door... looking stunning as ever! "I am very choosy about my scripts. After doing bold roles, I can't settle for anything less," she said adding that her decision is guided by scripts."I don't make a conscious choice to choose unconventional roles. If I like the script, I go for it. For me, the script has to be interesting. Even if I have two to three scenes in a film, I don't mind doing it if they are worth it," the 37-year-old said.Way to go!

Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... He would discuss the movies he wanted me to be in.”The film Shalimar might not have worked at the box office, but the songs by RD Burman play on to this day. They were like Aaina Wohi Rehta Hai, Hum Bewafaa Hargiz Na The and One Two Cha Cha Cha.
